Working well to prevent slugs in garden
Stapled to bottom of 22x14 fenced garden to prevent slugs from getting to my plants and herbs. Six weeks after installing I haven't seen any evidence of slugs getting into the garden - no slime trails and no plant damage. Product is solid copper, feels durable and was easy to cut with heavy duty scissors. Very happy this is working and I don't have to use chemicals or messy traps to keep slugs out.

Good solution
I used to it fix a large problem area- about a two inch gap underneath our deck between the deck boards and the foundation where rats/squirrels/something nasty was crawling up through and getting into our wall. I had to fill about twenty five feet of that gap, and I didn't have any other options for filling it due to the tight space. I had to commando crawl under the deck to get to it. So I wadded up a bunch of copper meshing, stuffed it in there, and held it in there with the Pur black expanding foam. It has worked well and there have been no problems since. I've gone around my house and stuffed it in anywhere else that looks like it could be a problem. Keep in mind that if you are filling large gaps you will need a lot of it, but for small gaps where you cut it and pack it in the gap a little will go a long way. I've even given it away to people who complain about mice and I still have a bunch sitting around. The people I've given it to said it worked great and was very easy to fix the issue with. Estimate the strength of the animal you're dealing with, and pack it in there so they won't be strong enough to pull it out. They definitely won't chew through it.

Make sure every crevice is filled""
This stuff is great(Copper Mesh). It all started when I heard what sounded like chewing behind the walls. One night I went inside my computer room, towards the morning, and walked around for while to see where the noise I heard was coming from. I sat down at my computer facing the door leading to the hallway, when I saw a mice dart out the doorway. So immediately I went about trying to find a solution to this obvious problem. I went on Amazon's website and typed in mouse traps. And up came "Copper Mesh 100'". I quickly ordered it. When it arrived I was eager to get about closing every crevice in the house that I thought mice could get in. Once in place I felt confident that the mice could no longer get in. But one night I heard chewing in my computer room. When I shined a flash light on the radiator, I saw two baby mice perched on the molding, between the radiator and wall. I started whacking at them with a long ruler but they managed to escape back into the crevice that I had missed. I had plenty of copper mesh left over, so I quickly sealed this last crevice. Once this was done I started wondering where is the mother of two baby mice that I saw earlier was. Sure enough she was still in the room hiding somewhere. The reason saw her because she was now trapped and was looking for a way back beneath the floor, where her babies had escaped to. This went on for a couple of days with a occasional sightings. One night I decided to place glue traps the length of the doorway to the computer room. Then I went about my usual routine and went down into basement. I did this a couple of times. The second time I came up I went towards the computer room and there she was, caught in one of the glue traps. Apparently she was going back and forth, between my bedroom and computer room looking for a way to escape. I have to say that if I had not stuffed all the crevices with this copper mesh, I would not have caught her, because she and the other mice were avoiding the glue traps, that I set all over the house.

Product you get depends upon which seller you buy from! Buyer beware!
I originally purchased a roll of this copper mesh several years ago (Sold by: Pest Mall) and it was wonderful, just as pictured on this listing. It worked great (used it with the foam sealant in the can with pest block) for stuffing into rodent holes and small openings around the house where rodents can enter. I was running out of the copper, so I came back to purchase another roll. I found my original order and clicked on the item to make sure I purchased the same product. Trying to save a few dollars, I purchased from the seller with the lowest price which was Solutions Pest & Lawn. I received the item sent and it definitely wasn't the same as what I purchased several years ago and didn't look like the photo shown on the product page. What I received was more of a screen type of material. If it is copper, it is very thin and lightweight, it is so thin you can easily tear it by hand, making me doubt it would do much to keep a rodent from chewing right through it. I am not happy at all with the poor quality and thinness of whatever this product is, and it is not what I purchased based on the listing.I wasn't sure if this item had completely changed or it was just the particular seller I purchased from, so I again went back to my original order and clicked on it, luckily that original seller is still an option, so I purchased this again from them. This order just arrived, it was exactly like the original thick roll of copper mesh (that you need to use shears or similar to cut) and cannot tear by hand. Very good, thick quality! So buyer beware of who you purchase this from, not all sellers are selling the same item for this listing. I am not saying it is intentional, but regardless, if you want the thick copper mesh as shown in the photo, purchase from Pest Mall (and no, I am not employed by or gaining anything by saying this). I am posting a photo to show the difference, the smaller roll on the left looking at the photo (it is new, I have not used any, this is the size when arrived) was purchased last week from the seller Solutions Pest & Lawn and the roll on the right was purchased this week from the seller Pest Mall.Update, I contacted Solutions Pest & Lawn to notify them of the issue, thinking they would be happy to know and to resolve the problem. In light of the inferior product that they are selling, I felt it was only right that they waive the 15% restocking fee (which is not even mentioned on their seller profile page). Their response, which confirms that they are aware that they are selling a poor quality product that does not match this listing, is as follows. "We provide the product description, but Amazon chooses the photos for representation of the products, not us. The product we ship is based off of the description we provide. The 15% restock fee applies to all returns."Funny thing, I was about to purchase a couple hundred dollars worth of other items from them that are in my cart, was just waiting until this was resolved, so for a few dollars they are stealing in their restocking fee, they are losing a huge sale...needless to say, I will NEVER purchase anything from them again. It is sad that there are sellers like this on Amazon, ruining it for everyone!

Perfect solution for rodent control.
We have used this copper mesh as a preventive barrier against mice for many years. Even when building a new deck we put it in place behind ledger boards before bolting to walls. Keeps mice from crawling behind any gaps.
