Used this kit to convert an outdoor fireplace to propane. We have a solid fuel burn ban in the area. Worked perfectly. Puts out a good amount of heat even on low. Very happy.

I like this product, easy to install and includes a long durable hose.

The media could not be loaded. I first posted a “negative” review, but as it turned out, there were issues not related to the product itself. First off, weak & low flame is mostly caused by too cold propane can (warm it up in tepid water), and possibly too low gas pressure due to too long/extended gas lines. Also, different regulators work differently and some might not be appropriate to provide adequate pressure. If the flame is coming out of the air intake holes it’s because the pressure dropped too low to provide enough “draft” / vacuum in the air gas mixing chamber to “pull up” the gas quickly enough. If the gas pressure and temperature are both adequate this product works well. Small improvement would we a gas control valve other than the main valve to lower the flame which is very strong at full capacity.

Made a firepit table into a gas-fired table in about half an hour with this, glass beads, and a step bit.Solid value.

Installed on an 3 gal propane cylinder. Hoped to use as fire visual and cook on it . Had to light each of the 10 nozzles individually. Fire was 1” to 1 1/2 inch tall . The air inlets caught fire . Too many faults to be of any use for me - I returned it

Husband had to go to town and come back with different parts to make this work correctly. We have propane and had to remove the air mixer valve to get it to work properly. It leaked badly the first 4 times we put together. The fifth time with the new parts minus the valve it works great. The instructions are horrible or should I say lack of! I would recommend either going online to different sites to research or purchase eleswhere. The quality of all parts is excellent. Hope this helps.

For those of you who only have a flame that’s 1 inch high you need to close both the flame adjuster and the tank regulator. Then open the tank regulator FIRST to charge the line with gas and then slowly open the flame adjuster and light the ring, this will produce a higher flame.The reason I’m giving this 3 stars is because the gas mixer was causing too much carbon build up on the lava stones and I needed to drill it out more.
