Nice slippers BUT......
I was given a pair of these slippers for Christmas 3yrs ago. Very classy looking with a monogrammed "J" on the front of each. Very well cushioned, warm and fit well for a size 8-9 foot.Reason for the 3 stars: So I ordered two pair of these slippers. Notice in the image the 'metal' tag on the side of these 'Tex Moc' slippers as compared to the 'Moc' slippers (on another page) which sale for $16 to $17 less and do not have the metal tag. I ordered these more expensive slippers specifically because of that metal tag which is just like the ones I received for Christmas. But that is not what I received. So I did an exchange and got the same slipper back that I returned. I decided to keep the slippers since Cambridge Select apparently doesn't have the exact slipper that I wanted and was ordered (and these seem nice enough), and Amazon gave me a discounted refund of $17 x 2 on the order. A lot of hassle and disappointment but at least Amazon gave me some compensation.

The price matches the quality and comfort. Very comfortable.
The first pair that I ordered were too small. I wear size 13 Mens/USA, and ordered size 13. They were too small, very tight and constricting. This is the second pair of Acorn slippers that I ordered, in 14/15. Now that they actually fit on my feet, I'm very pleased. I've worn many slippers in my lifetime and these, are by far, the most comfortable. I don't have a tremendous amount of faith in the construction/quality but I don't want to be too harsh on the score because I haven't been wearing them for very long and can't really testify to their durability. I can testify to how the quality (materials, stitching, etc. ) looks and feels, and that is a little on the light side. I wear these at work while I sit in a chair in front of a computer screen all day. Occasionally I'll go to the kitchen or restroom or walk to my car but they don't get much mileage on a daily basis. They keep my feet warm and are very soft with adequate cushion. Overall, the price at time of purchase (~$35) is good for the product. Lost one star due to inaccurate sizing and underwhelming construction/materials. But only 1 star. I am happy with this purchase, would buy these again, and would recommend these to others.

Not Durable/Reliable/Dependable
Purchased five years ago. Very rarely used for about 4 of those years. Finally started wearing them normally as slippers one year ago. Months later, noticed water inside the slippers. The "weatherproof sole" had completely failed. Months after that, the front started peeling apart. Now BOTH slipper fronts are exposed and the one sole has become dislodged, making it very uncomfortable to wear properly. This product gets 2 stars (below average) due to its very poor durability.

Terrific for your tootsies!
I'm on my second pair of ACORN slippers; after 5 years I finally wore the first pair out. I didn't hesitate to order another pair of the TEX MOC slipper. Por que, you may ask?Comfort. Warmth. Durability. Dry. If I have to run out to the mailbox, or get the paper, the rubber souls keep my feet snug and dry. Plus, it's been a surprisingly lengthy, often brutal, winter in these parts; when the house is cold, these ACORNS keep your tootsies snug. Finally, these slippers are so darn comfy. I slip into them, plop down on the couch to read the paper or watch the tube, and you can practically hear my feet enthusiastically thanking me.I know one thing for sure. When it comes time to get another pair of comfortable slippers, I'm buying the ACORN MEN'S TEX MOCs. Highly recommended to all men's slipper consumers. Your feet will be thanking you, too.--D. Love 'em
I'll start off mentioning that I am not a slipper connoisseur by any means. I've had a few pairs in the past, but due to wearing a size 15EEE shoe, slippers have always been either too small or too expensive.Until now!!!These things fit great, don't slide around whether I'm working at the computer, walking around the house, wrestling with the kids or just sitting on the couch. Easy to slide on without the need of my hands and easy to kick off if my feet get too warm or at night when heading to bed.I read a prior review about the embroidered acorns and was a bit nervous, but honestly I don't even notice they're there. As others have cautioned, these seem to run a bit small. I ordered the 16-17 size and they fit absolutely perfect on my size 15 feet.

vs Isotoners
This is my first Acorn slipper. I discovered the brand after reading Amazon reviews so I figure I better do my part too.I've only spent a couple of days with these and already noticed the difference in quality vs the Isotoners that I usually get from Macy's. The stitching is better. The fabric is more breathable (I.e. less sweaty). The look is even more palatable (for a house shoe of course). The online price for Acorn is on par with the store price for the Isotoners, which is a nice plus.I typically buy a 10.5-11 tennis shoe and went with the large size. Seems to be a touch tight because of the design of this particular model. I would recommend to go by their sizing chart (compared to other reviewers saying to go small). Because the toe slants up on this model, you lose a little room for your big toe. I'm hoping the stretch just a little bit after some wear.

Wonderful and Washable!
Actually, I am writing this review based on a pair like this I purchased for myself, because this pair, which I bought and had shipped to a friend, never arrived in the mail. Mine fit as expected, and I wear them a lot. They are very comfortable, give me the arch support I need, and I love the fact that they're washable. I only wear mine in the mornings and evenings, but I'm sure they would be comfortable to wear all day. The width is exactly what I expected and fits well. The arch support isn't enough for me to wear all day, but I didn't buy them for that. They have enough support for the length of time that I wear them. I'm very happy with mine.
