CarbZone High Protein Rice, Low Carb, Wheat Flour
Reasonably rice like in taste and appearance. I like that the calories are not drastically reduced alongside with the carbs, so that you can still have a satisfying meal without taking in too many carbs. Just don't forget to rinse the rice before cooking. There is a fair amount of floury dust on it.

Remarkably similar to brown rice
Tried this with chilli con carne and it's remarkably similar taste and texture to our usual brown rice. It doesn't expand as much as rice, perhaps double rather than tripling in volume but still a satisfying portion. Although it's not cheap it comes out to about £1 per portion which is less excessive than many other alternatives so I will continue buying it. No unpleasant smells noticed and cooks like normal rice, albeit for a shorter time. Would help a lot if the cooking instructions were printed in something higher contrast than white on yellow, which is really hard to read.

It's not really like rice
But if you want a substitute rice-type mouthfeel, it's OK. Better in things like curries, and other stuff with strongly flavoured sauces. I have cooked, chilled and egg-fried it and it did OK. Grotesquely expensive, but then all keto products have that in common. Fills a gap while I'm avoiding carbs.

Close as you can get to taste
I have tried many different low carbon rice and for me this is the best on market , Yes its expensive but I found you don't have to use as much as say normally as its very filling , so all in all strongly recommendations

Took the rice out of the box and rice started pinging everywhere...found a hole in the top of the bag. Wouldn't worry about it for most products, as long as the product itself isn't damaged, but holes in food packaging aren't great!

perfect.
Really loved this rice, I have Diverticulitis so eating meat protein is not an easy option, but this is perfect for a soft diet, I added lots of vegetables, and it really bulks a meal out so well, Will defiantly be ordering again x thank you
