Good for cat fountain
I bought this filter to make a fountain for my cats. I bought activated carbon to put in it and everything works perfectly for a very affordable price. Cats now drink like drunks. On the other hand, if I had to do it again, I would choose a compact filter that has no part that sticks out on the side. This takes up a lot of space in the bowl and you have to find a very large one that is twice the width of the filter so that the water jet can be in the middle. But it's a bit out of the ordinary. Otherwise, this filter is silent, efficient and I am very satisfied.

Bought last year, still working great
Works great. Keeps my 10 gallon fish tank clean and only needs to have the intake filter cleaned once a week. I have no clue how its still functioning after a year.My only request to the manufacturer is to include a replacement intake filter sponge thingy, it starts to break down after a year, and to make the intake filter longer so it can run longer than a week without requiring cleaning.
