Spectra Pump Valves w/Membrane Replacement - 2 Count

I really prefer these valves to the duckbill valves that came with my Spectra S2. They're easier to remove and that also makes it easier to collect any milk trapped inside. It seems like this design will last longer than my original valves, which developed air leaks after only 3 weeks of use. I feel like the suction is better too. I just wish I could find the membranes separately, but buying the whole set is still about the same price as replacing the duckbills.

I bought these to replace the duck bills on my Spectra pump and it is so much better. It’s cut down on my pump time as it seems to pull more effectively than the buck bills. Only issue is that it’s a little big to use with the adapters when pumping into the Kiinde milk storage bags. I tried to to put the adapter on and ended up chipping a bit of the sides. Still giving it five stars for effectiveness and time saved.

They work fine, but they aren't going to change your life. I spent a little more money hoping I would pump a few more ounces with these than the duckbills. I ended up getting the same amount, but now have the additional worry about keeping the membrane in good condition. If I need more in the future, I'll just buy the duckbills.

I didn’t really like these at first because I thought I was getting less ounces etc and the auction felt off. Stumbled upon some duckbill valves from spectra at target. I’m when I used them though, I realized I like the membrane valves way better. I’m usually done pumping in 20 minutes feeling completely empty, my output is consistent and it doesn’t pinch or hurt at all to pump. I would definitely say it’s $12 well spent to see if they work for you!Update; membranes need to be replaced and cannot find any compatible with this product. Tried medela membranes because it was all I could find. They're too big but gets the job done. Why sell these if there's no replacement parts??

These worked with my flanges. I do prefer the duckbill valves better. I did find that these valve are a little harder to clean

Used this for the first time. Either I’m just full because I haven’t pumped for a few hours, or the blessed thistle supplement I took, or it actually works. I typically pump about 4 oz on average on both sides. So far looks like I’ve pumped 4 oz per side. I will write an update when I use this on a weekday when I pump more regularly.

These valves work so much better than the regular duckbills. It doesn't cut pumping in half, but it definitely shaves time off pumping, which is great! It is a spectra part too. Only thing I do recommend is disassembling it right away because the hard plastic can be hard to get off if you leave it sitting too long.
