Night Light

LOVE IT. Bought for both kids rooms. Mom would complain that the other night-lights were too bright and pull them out. However, this light has a nice soft glow that's perfect for the middle-of-the-night events that inevitably occur. If you place it on a wall plug near the floor, it will not be very bright, but sufficient to 'light walkways'. If you plug it in at table-level in a corner facing up (ex. with an extension cord), it will light up a small room with a nice glow (candlelight brightness, maybe?). The color is pleasant. Since it's closer to orange (e.g. longer wavelength), there is no painful 'eye adjustment' when you wake up at 3 AM. The daylight sensor works well, so no complaints there. For our purposes - this was perfect and overall very happy with the product.

The product works just fine - they come on when it's dark and shut off when it's not, what more can be said. That said - they aren't bright, you won't be reading by these lights, not a problem since that's not their function. However, orange is a terrible color for nightlights. I discovered this the first night - far better to have picked a different color, light blue, green, something the eye sees better. I don't know if these come in green, if they do, that's the one to go for.Also - make sure you actually have an outlet in a place these lights can be seen from, I admit to not checking this first before ordering and found out the hard way my outlets are basically tucked away behind things. My mistake not the sellers.

Put this in the bathroom. Perfect amount of light and great color- very soft orange, doesn't wake me up in the middle of the night. But the size is too big - takes up most of the outlet and makes it difficult to use other plug. If it were about 25% smaller it would be perfect.

Nice, soft light, not harsh at all. Keep in mind these are not very bright, best for smaller rooms or when not a lot of light is needed. Perfect for me.

The light color is orange - just what is needed for restful sleep, yet you can see to move around when you need to. The research I found indicates orange to reddish is much better than white for a nightlight. I like them so much I just ordered two more. Sensor turns them off when a room light is on or daylight is intense. The instructions say up to 50,000 hours - so almost six years if they were left in a really dark room and on for 24 hrs a day.

Absolutely love these! The glow is warm, golden and kind to the eyes in the dark.

These nightlights have a soft orangey glow, which is very calming and restful. Most nightlights seem to be blue-white, which I find really irritating in the middle of the night. I also like the fact that the plugs aren't polarized, so that they fit in the outlet facing any direction, and don't block the second outlet. I wish they were a little smaller, though. I don't understand why nightlights have to be so large.

One works great and the other only works if I press it against the outlet, so it is faulty. My son does like the one that works.Update: 10/1/2017The customer service of the night light company is great. They quickly replaced the faulty night light with two new ones. The two new ones work well. We like the organge glow the lights emit, because it doesn't affect the bodies ability to prepare for bed like light that has blue light in it does.
