Cirque du Soleil Soundtrack.
Actually already had one, purchased at the show. But I wanted one for the car. I now have three different of these soundtracks and I like this one best.

Boo reviews
None of the music from the show. Not even a resemblance. Like, "oh, yeah, I remember this!"...nope. It's not bad. It's not great. It doesn't take me back to the show. It just is. It is what it is and that's not what I wanted. Boo. Boo this CD. Boo me wasting 2 1/2 minutes to review it

"Inspired by" is highlighted in the cover for a reason
Like the cover says it's "inspired by" and not the original score of the show. The songs are remixed versions so some people may not recognize them immediately. I had been listening to the songs on my way to the show so I was able to recognize most of the songs during the acts. For example, "Tiembla la tierra" plays in a more acoustic version during Adagio (the acrobat trio act with a live band with a piano playing in the background), "Pambolero" is the score for the soccer act, "Pez Volador" is a trip-hop remix of the score for the pole acrobats forest scene. "Alebrijes" is the score for the contortionist (the alebrije). Granted "Tlaloc" sounds nothing like the score for it's namesake scene (the jaguar scene), it's so completely different I believe this is a cut scong that was replaced in the live show by the time the album had already gone to press. "Cierra los ojos" has also been heavily remixed but it's the score for the images in the waterfall scene (you know which one). All in all it's a beautiful remix album, I do wish they will eventually release the original unedited score, but some of the songs (Pambolero in particular) sounds way better in this album than live since the music, effects and the acts themselves sometimes drown out the singer during the show and the lyrics of this particular song are beautiful ("Run, swim, fly and fall, whether we live or die it is of no consequence, you're my only reason to live, only heaven knows where we're headed! Roll and run across the fields and fly, flying above the skies for real, you're my only reason to live!").
