Great quality, low noise, great price, very compact
I use this tool very hard. I am a professional industrial welder. Pros: light, compact, very quiet and appears to have appropriate power. Cons: when pushing the head sideways, head can come unscrewed, I tightened it well and has been good since. The way most people use this, it probably will never be an issue. If it is, make sure you understand how the head tightens to the body, it's a little counter intuitive though typical for this type of tool. It vents at the head which can be a bit annoying because after oiling it blows the oil onto the workpiece if not ran out first. Overall I love this tool. I run it extremely hard with deburing bits and use it professionally. Had it for about 6 weeks so far. If I have any problems with it, I'll update the review. Guy I work with has gone through 3 harbor freight equivalent tools since I have had this. We are just very hard on them.

Plenty power for its size
Writing the review after having this tool for 6 years. Bought this because I wanted a compact grinder to get into tight locations. Over the past 6 years I have used it every once in awhile with good results. During the last 6 months I have used this grinder almost daily. I have used it with both carbide burrs, cut off wheels as well as Roloc abrasive discs. At 90 psi and a fair amount of cfm it doesn’t bog down. Great little grinder! I own several pneumatic tools made by Chicago Pneumatic. All of them have given me good service. For the past 35 years I’ve been a loyal customer. This little tool has proved its durability in my opinion and this is the reason why I am writing a review. I paid $54 for it and if it blew up tomorrow I would think that it was worth it! The only negative thing I have to say about it is that the safety trigger is hard to engage at times. That being said it is a minor inconvenience.

BIG power in a little package...
I didn't realize how small these were, I knew they were small but I didn't think it would be quite as small as it is. I needed this die grinder for doing auto body work and I have used it on 1/2 of the car so far and it hasn't let me down. I really had to regulate the pressure at my compressor though because this thing is a BEAST and it will quickly do it's job and grind away metal if you let it. The grip switch is nice as it allows you to slightly control how fast it spins but it would have been nice if it had some sort of built in regulator on the grinder itself... Other than that I love this. I wish I could be a little more helpful with my review but this is my first pneumatic grinder and I don't have anything to compare it to. I will say one thing though, this is my first CP and it made a positive impression as the campbell hausfeld stuff that I bought all fell apart with light use in no time flat. Also, my unit didn't arrive as it is shown in the picture, not a big deal at all. It came in red and black and as shown is a chrome finish.

CP die grinder
I’ve used this for over 4 years. Amazing tool by CP. Extremely durable. I’ve put an unimaginable amount of hours on this and still runs strong. I keep it well oiled and had zero problems. Small, and light weight for all those difficult work areas. I would definitely buy another one if I ever needed too. Ergonomic and fits my hand perfectly. Trigger is smooth for precise operation

Best Right Angle Grinder out there under 500$
Upon first opening the Box I thought I had received the wrong product, as it was much smaller than my other Chicago Pneumatic Straight Die Grinder. I was going to send it back but said what the heck, why not try it. I installed a swivel air fitting, dropped in some Marvel Mystery Oil, and put a Roloc adapter on. With a 120grit roloc sandpaper disc, it flawlessly did the job I set forth with. I was surprised at how little vibration it has, which means less fatigue if you couple that with the extreme light weight. I then tried a 3" buffer wheel in it, and polished a wheel within minutes. The only downside is the front facing exhaust, eventually misting water on my polishing compound/wheel. Finally I changed over to the included 7mm collet from the installed 1/4inch and put in a deburring bit and worked on some aluminum and once again I was impressed at the lack of vibration. This one does not have the torque that my fullsize 1/3 HP CP but it didnt cost $200 either, so I am very impressed. It is slightly louder then the other, but nowhere near that of most air tools. Buy this and you will be happy.

Low vibration for long use, Nice weight and balance for presicion cuts!
Low vibration. Good to use for extended cutting etc. Replaced wornout Home Depot brand tool. Very happy with its use for long days cutting carbon fiber with a diamond wheel. Equally usefull with 2 inch gring disks. I had a little trouble getting used to the engagement lever. With practice it is very smooth and easy to use. However, it did take some practice manipulating with the safety lever. I will say the lever makes accidental engagement very unlikey.

It doesn’t seem to need very much air like that more expensive models
I have a compressor that only puts out 5.5cf at 90 lbs and this little tool doesn’t have any problem with the low volume of air. It’s still runs and runs. The speed is pretty good. It’s very very easy to run very smooth and for the value of my money it’s pretty good. The only thing I don’t like is the safety lever yet to push forward to squeeze the trigger to make it go it seems kind of hard maybe a softer spring would be better but overall I would buy this again if I had to.

Very compact size and easy to get into tight spurs.
I bought this CP875 to clean up the underbelly of my lawn tractor mower. It’ll be a lot easier to clean up than scraping with a putty knife! Great tool. Hopefully my Makita Air Compressor can handle it.
