Twas the Night Before Christmas [VHS]

Grew up watching this and so glad I actually found it. The tape was sealed tight but actually playing it the tape is pretty worn and does break a few times so I’m hoping maybe I can fix it when I transfer this to dvd.

I recently bought this movie by accident, thinking it was the Rankin/Bass movie by the same name. I figured I might as well watch it anyway. It is awful. It makes very little sense. It drones on and on and is horribly boring. It has no story line to speak of. Even my 2 year old nephew didn't fancy it. There's a full 10 minutes of just sugar plums dancing. And they're wearing clothes. And it has Santa's reindeer practically starting an insurrection. This is nothing by comparison to the Rankin and Bass movie. So, I would not recommend this movie to anyone, and I am a Christmas movie fanatic. This is the first one ever that I didn't take to.

As a warning, this is not the same video you may be looking for by the same name. There is different animated holiday special with the identical title that is made by the Rankin/Bass Studios, about a mouse that has to fix the town clock after he wrote to Santa to tell him he did not believe in him. The movie on this page is not very good in comparision. The good one is listed at Amazon so keep looking, it is on DVD too.
