I live somewhere that can get pretty dark for several months outta the year. I didn't know how much I needed this little light! I work 10 hour shifts in my home office and since getting this light I'm not dragging through the day. My cats love to sit on my desk in front of it for hours, so it's not me just imagining it creates a nice work environment. It really does make you feel better and help you stay alert. With the multiple brightness and light color/shade settings you really can't go wrong. I can light up the whole room with bright white, or have a dim, warm yellow light. You're sure to find a setting that you enjoy. The timer setting is nice and it remembers the last setting you used when you turn it back on. This is such a great little light, my cats, dog and I really enjoy it! It's so light weight and compact you can take it anywhere! Definitely would buy again.

this lamp gets super bright but also has a really nice range of brightness levels which is great to switch during the day. i also love that it can be warm or cool light. great option for the price!

This is an absolute wonderful tool to add to you SAD symptoms treatment. I stand/sit in front of it for at least an hour a day when the grey winters are at their peak. When no amount of outdoor time does the trick because the sun is m.i.a.On conjuction with my increased Vit D, exercise and increasing my healthy whole foods this lamp really helped make a difference this year.

The heft feels like my Kindle, just more square. I love the brightness control without the heat. I have it diagonally in front/left of me when I'm at my desk & computer. Ever since I've been using it, I feel like I fall asleep much easier at night

This helped tremendously. I helped as I deal with depression! I jump up in the mornings now and start my day off the rt way

I use this at work (9hrs in a windowless office) and like it. There are many brightness and colore tone options (I like bright white, L2/3). It's easy to use. The timer is a great option (15, 40, 45, 60 min options). Coworkers haven't commented so it's apparently not as distracting as I had feared.I doubt the light has any real anti-SAD wavelength but simply having the bright light shining toward me for 15-30 min per day has been wonderful for combatting a depeessing office!

Basic but works nicely. The brightness and the color temperature is adjustable from very warm to daylight. The full spectrum light is like the sun but without the UV. It is very light and easy to carry when you travel. It comes with a wall wart, I would prefer a usb operation, though.
