AdcorLeather Laces, Tan, 1 Pair

I needed a pair of 45" shoe laces to replace the set that snapped on me after 5+ years of dutiful service. After a trip to all of the shoe stores in my local mall, I concluded that 45" brown leather shoe laces were not something commonly held in any footwear retailers inventory. Resorting to the Amazon.com, I happened upon these fine Adcor laces after a light search. I ordered up one pair, they were delivered promptly, and I now find myself strolling confidently once more. On the whole, the experience from ordering to obtaining has revealed itself to be mostly painless and convenient. The only aspect that left me feeling somewhat soured was the shipping price. $2 laces and $6 shipping, hmmm. Nonetheless, I recommend these laces for any pair of shoes. They look indiscernibly close to the ones that originally came with my shoes, and thus far, they're hanging in there just fine.

I used these on some chukkas as a winter replacement to laces that snapped. On the second use of the laces, one of them broke. It's not a huge deal considering I don;t need as much lace for a chukka, but for any other shoe or boot, the laces would then be worthless.I recommend using some leather oil or maybe some Obenauf's LP right out of the package to ensure a moisturized leather lace.

The laces shipped quickly but instead of being "tan" as listed and pictured, the color was more or less yellow. I contacted the seller who graciously sent a second pair of laces described as "camel" in color. The second pair was more in line, color wise, with the picture for the "tan" laces. However even as I was lacing my shoe the laces started to fall apart. The reason this review still gives two stars is because of the customer service. They were quick with all their replies and accommodating in replacing the laces. It's just a shame that the laces don't match the color/description of this listing, and they broke almost immediately.

When I received the shoelaces, I was puzzled as to why they were so brittle. I looked to see if there were any instructions about soaking them in mineral oil or water or something. But no instructions were to be found. It was very easy getting them through the boot's lacing channels because they were SO hard, but that should have been a clue to me. It was sort of like threading the boot with coat hangers. Anyway, it was nearly impossible to tie the laces, and as I was doing that one of them broke! Don't waste your money on this!

I bought these to replace some leather laces in my work boots.I was happy to get them, I put them in my work boots and the first time I laced them up they broke.Not only did they break once, every time I would try to lace them with now a shorter lace, they would break again.Now I have about 20 small pieces of shoe laces.I do not recommend this product. Save your money and buy something else. Will not be purchasing these nor would I recommend this product to anyone.

My dog chewed my shoe and I got these as a replacement. They do exactly what they're supposed to at a reasonable price. Well worth it.

I was looking for some leather laces to replace the one on boat shoes and these fit the bill. I was able to cut the two pairs in half giving me 4 laces. They seem to hold more rigid than my previous pair, which is better. Mine twisted and snapped, that's why I replaced them.

Incredibly stiff. They make awful shoelaces. The ONLY redeeming quality was that they look nice when you manage to bend them into the correct shape.
