Chui Woon Dang Chung sim Incense Sticks, Yellow

I was buying this from a local shop for years. They closed and I was thrilled to find it on line. The scent is very nice and not overwhelming. I tend to be sensitive to smells that are too strong. This is not.

Does not last long and smells like marijuana. its just ok - I wish it lasted longer but less than 15 min

If you are Korean, this is quite nostalgic.

I wanted to like it but I cannot even burn it for a second. It smells like a combination of strong bitter herbal medicines with burnt plastic. It’s not like what the temples I’ve been to smell like. I thought maybe, I just need to get used to it. Tried burning at least four of them. It smells terrible and leaves me in a bad non-meditative or calming state of mind. I have been looking for good Korean incense on Amazon and this was definitely disappointing. It’s such a waste that I am throwing the entire box in the trash. There are far better Korean incense available. It’s just not available on Amazon. I will be going back to Japanese incense for now. I highly recommend the Shoyeido Plum Blossom sticks if you want an alternative.

Lovely and subtle scent. Sticks burn unevenly with some lasting notably longer than others. Nice box.
