7 Pack 9ft Neon Light El Wire w/Battery Pack (Green, Blue, Red, Orange, Purple, White, Pink)

Very fun and easy Halloween Costume (just Velcro, rubber bands, and safety pins to make a quick and easy stick-person.) Wrapped lights around dog leash for night walks (gets dark at 4:30!). I will order these again. This set was great. It came with 7 light wires AND 7 battery packs! So many other options only provide 3 battery packs. One battery pack did break (wire broke at battery base) BUT that was purely my fault by the way I was holding it on dog walks. So nice that I can just connect lights to a different battery pack and not have to restring the lights. Battery packs also have a clip to hook on belt loop or pants. 2 AA batteries - seem to last long enough. There is a slight buzzing with some of the battery packs, but it is tolerable. We also wrapped lights around bike baskets - good for safety any time.

Bright of color , wire quality

I am making my kids’ costumes with these and so far they are doing great! I put batteries in them and they seem pretty silent as far as noise goes. I think the length is great too! I am so glad I ordered the variety of colors and I feel that the amount for the price was perfect.

All of the lights make the most awful high pitched buzzing sound when on. The lights also smell strongly of chemicals

Slight buzz when lit. Started sewing my blue wire on a coat and had a feeling I should check it before I sewed too much and it doesn’t light up. All the other colors light up fine. Did some experimenting and it’s the battery pack that’s the issue, not the wire itself

The media could not be loaded. These are great! I used them to make faux neon signs for my friends for Christmas. I bent a piece of wire into their names, and then I hot glued the EL wire to that. They’re true to color, bright and and easy to work with. They do make the buzzing sound that I’ve seen other people mention in their ratings, but it is really only noticeable if you’re right by the item when it’s turned on. I have more pics in my phone somewhere, so if I find them I will update the post.
