These lanterns are very sturd and compact for storing - we were surprised at how bright they are! We thought we were prepared for hurricane Irma but realized we forgot adequate emergency lights for when the power went out (which it did for 3+ days) Now we have these very nice lanterns added to our emergency supplies. They top pulls up to turn on the lanterns and when you close them the lights turn off - simple, compact and efficient!

one of them doesn't turn off when I close it but I am too lazy to pack it back up & return. so i'm just using the one

I purchased these to use for power outages and fortunately haven't had on since. I tried them at night and they worked as I expected. Four stars only as they are not as bright as I hoped.

Delighted with Ultimate LED Lanterns. Shipped quickly and product was as promised. I really like the design which is protective when not in use and opens easily. The lantern lights up immediately when the tab is removed from the battery section. We are pleased. Thank you.

Opened the package, screwed on the bottom plate securing the battery....and split the bottom plate in half. It seems like the threading spreads as you screw on the bottom plate, forcing the bottom plate to spread until the plastic cracks. Bodged it with some superglue but this seems like something that will come back to haunt me in the future whenever I need to change the batteries.There is quite a few led bulbs in this light, so it's quite bright. Haven't run it down yet, but am doubtful about the battery light this is going to have. Probably good for a weekend camping trip, but not for extended off grid living. Fairly lightweight and small package so easy to pack into gear.

Nice product! Very well built. Put the batteries in and tried the light emitted when it got dark and it was just nice for one large room. It didn't blind you but it was adequate and cosy. Packaging was good and delivery was on time.

WORKS GREAT

I love these lights. We bought them to use on our boat and they are very bright and lights up our cabin. A secondary use was as a emergency light for when the power went off during Hurricane Irma. Plus they fold down into the cannister, protecting the hard plastic around the bulbs.
