Stellar Running Shoe
My 1st Progrid shoe was fitted by a running store I thought they were my favorite ever. That was until I got the updated version here. This one had the arch support and was the stability shoe I needed. I have used so many other types of shoes and these ones are my favorite. High-end Asics are usually a close second, but they cost a ton more.I think these are the best value for a solid stability running shoe. I go between a 9-9.5 (closer to a 9) and these fit perfect. Their comfortable on the track and the trail. They also breathe well and lace up comfortably. The wore out in about 1 year of running 4-5 times a week and unfortunately were unusable as they tore through the mesh. They were incredible while they lasted and I tried getting them again, but I settled for the Progrid 5 which was even better. If you need a stability shoe, get a progrid. You won't be disappointed. Here is the next better version I purchased when these wore out: Saucony Men's Progrid Guide 5 Running Shoe

great running shoes
first say that the Amazon service was incredible, send this package to the Christmas season in two days is really impressive. The package and its contents arrive in perfect condition. Now go into the question, shoes are very comfortable, good arch support, compared to other shoes of this brand forefoot area felt a bit tight, but nothing out of the ordinary in a new shoe. I ran with them about 9 miles and are great I can not imagine when they are more adjusted to my feet, maybe 30 miles more write a new update. In short if you are an athlete of normal weight, with medium or high arched feet, with mild/moderate pronation problems this can be an excellent training shoe.04-28_2012My second pair and again I give opinion on this excellent shoe, one of the better purchases I've made, well cushioned without being soft, built to last, I recommend that if someone wants to buy and ask for the extra width that are a bit narrow in the forefoot area, nothing annoying, but if you can buy much wider, much better, do it without fear Saucony makes shoes last rather narrow and 2e is not as loose as 2e in new balance

Perfect. Just what I needed!!!!
I have a long narrow foot and Saucony has always come through. I purchased a pair of Cohesions about a year ago and as soon as I put it on I knew it would be narrow enough, without the laces meeting when I tied the shoe tight. Because of travel, I needed another pair of running shoes and began the search. I checked the blogs and a number of runners stated that the ProGrid ran narrow. I went to Amazon because they always ship to my APO address for free. I found the ProGrid in my size and it is perfect. If you have a narrow foot, this shoe is definatley for you. The length seems true. The shoe is very comfortable.Great shoe. I have found my new favorite.

Great stable running shoe
Love these shoes. I went to The Running Lab in Orange, CA and had a custom shoe fitting and these were the shoes they recommended. I bought my first pair from them but at $125 retail I couldn't keep that up. So I love that I can get the same shoe at much less. They are great for my stride because I have a tendency to roll my ankles and since they have a more solid foot bed they don't allow that. I attend boot camp a few days a week so I try to change out my shoes every six months. These seem to stand up about that long and then they need to be replaced.I usually wear a women's 9.5M and I bought these Men's 8.5M and they are great!

Great durable shoe
I was forced to get a shoe that helped support high arches as I have recently acquired Plantar Fasciitis. I researched a number of shoes and the history that I have with Saucony let me to try these. So far I have ran 97 miles on them total, about 4 miles a day and they help very much in the healing of my PF.Saucony always puts out a great shoe and they tailor to everyone's individual needs.

Excellent shoes - especially for the wide foot
I'm 53 years old and only started running 18 months ago. I wore out my first set of glide 3's and bought this new pair right before my first 8k race. I've never had a problem with knees, hips, ankles - what have you.I'm a little choked that Saucony doesn't make these any more. The toe to heel plane angle changes in the glide 5...I'll definitely get another pair of these after wearing out the new ones. Oh...the first pair I started out at 190 and ended at 175 - did 5-5k races with all the practice between over 18 mths. They held up very well...

Good Quality Athletic Shoe For A Reasonable Price
I used to buy whatever the top-of-the-line Nike was, just on the principle that it was probably a good running/workout shoe. And, it probably is. But I'm not running marathons or doing two-a-day workouts - I work out three or four times a week, and occasionally run a few miles. For my purposes, at least, these shoes have been more than adequate and quite comfortable.

Sehr guter Einsteiger-Laufschuh
