I had hip surgery and have motion restrictions for 6 weeks. I bought this so I wouldn't need to keep asking for help to put on my socks. This works great!! With the rubber grip it pulls long socks all the way up.

No frills but gets the job done!

Did not work as well as it should. Real struggle trying to get socks on.

I always read reviews before making any purchase...except this time. The item looked well made and the "slip resistant" backing impressed me a lot. My favorite, inexpensive donner finally wore out and I was going to buy it again until I saw this "improved" version. There is absolutely NOTHING in the least bit slip resistant about this donner.! My compression stocking slipped immediately. This is totally unacceptable and the seller's description is deceptive, in my opinion. Taking advantage of people with special needs as far as requiring help dressing, is despicable.

This thing is too stiff making it tricky to get the sock on it. Then the leading edge can take the skin off if you're not careful. It's great for getting the sock on your foot but a much softer, fabric covered sock aid that wore out after 4 years did as well. It's hard for arthritic hands to get the sock on it.

This is a great little product. After my stroke, I have had issues reaching one foot to put on socks or tie shoes. This makes putting on socks an easy task. The rubber grips on the sides are a great improvement on other models out there. The sock is pulled onto the foot sometimes all the way which works very well for my situation.

It was a good price but then the delivery fee made it more expensive then it's worth. It's basic - no whistles or bells and it basically just the job you need it to. Good enough for me.
