A Pug's Guide to Dating Hardcover – September 12, 2013

Our pug was just hitting his teenager status when we purchased this book, hoping it would alleviate the plight of the stuffed animals around the house. When we could finally pull his attention away from Dogs Gone Wild on Animal Planet, we had a long sit to discuss his courting manners. He didn't seem to want to pay any attention, as stubborn teenagers usually don't. For some reason we just couldn't get him to hold it properly, and turning pages was a nightmare. Overall, it was probably not the best purchase we've made. He just simply isn't interested in leaving the comfort of his stuffed toys at this time, despite our efforts.

I had completely forgotten that I ordered this, until it showed up in my mailbox after a particularly bad day at work. Fave page is the one with the Pug with flowers in his Victorian collar/cone, making the very best of what he has to work with. If you need a smile when you're feeling old, fat, ugly, and past your prime in the dating world...this is THE book to put things in perspective.

The book itself is really cute and original. I gave it to my boyfriend for our anniversary and we loved reading it together. However, I'd really like to praise the seller. My first order was placed sometime in the middle of September and was set to be delivered end of October. When I didn't receive it a couple days after the last estimated delivery date, I contacted the seller(s). They were very helpful and immediately responded to my concern. They offered a refund or a replacement and I chose the replacement. A few days later I had the book! Thank you so much. Your customer service is wonderful.

Well - this is a silly little book. I knew that when I ordered it and the author/artist really has flair for funny Pug People. Since I'm a" pugaholic" this was too cute to resist.

If you have a pug or are simply a lover of the best dogs in the world you need to own this and all of Gemma Correll's books. No one captures their spirit like she does. This and the companion book to this are just so hilarious and sweet.

This book was purchased as a gift to my sister who has a pug. She loves to read and loves loves loves pugs. She was very happy to receive this gift and thought it was great. She thought the Pug's guide to Etiquette was better, but they are a great gift pair.

I ordered this book & the book on Etiquette for my 49 year old daughter's birthday. She has a pug that is her baby. The books really made her laugh, which I hoped they would. I let my granddaughter & grandson who are 10 & 12 read them too, they have a pug also. They could relate their pug's actions to a lot of the stories in both books.

Amazing book.. very cute so only reason I am giving this two stars is because I initially bought this for a young child for a gift because they have a pug. This is NOT a child's book and I think it is suited for a 20+yr old pug owner but now I'm sick with a hilarious yet inappropriate book. I feel like this book could have been marketed better toward adult pug parents. Should be clearer about content.

I found this book charming and amusing, was bought for valentines for a laugh, although the recipient has barely really looked at it, I don't mind as I have looked at it and I think it's a wonderful light hearted comedy book that'll cheer up even the most miserable soul. I would even buy this book for a single friend on valentines to show that even pugs sometimes get it wrong. It's also a great insight in to the minds of pugs if you own one, and are looking to better understand how he or she thinks.

Bought as a gift. Very funny

very funny Gemma correll knows pugs the book seems to tell you exactly how funny pugs are. I have five of them and they are just as funny as she says in the book.

Bought for a friend as a side present as she loves pugs and wanted something extra to go with the other present. She liked it, but as a novelty gift I cant see her with it in 5 years time

Provides hours of amusement and loads of laughs! Beautiful drawings cartoon pugs and witty comments!Adore all of Gemma Correll's work :)
