RIK COLLECTION Wallets for Men Bifold Leather Slim RFID Blocking Italian Genuine Leather (Charcoal Black)

I am very critical of the wallet I carry. To me, it is a personal statement that reflects my character. That said, my purchase the RIK Collection wallet has been a huge success. I initially looked at all of the choices available at four local stores, and I was put off by the flimsiness and inferior materials used in their construction. Initially, I was hesitant to turn to Amazon for a solution; I want to see it and feel it in person. I say with confidence that I did not find any wallet for under $100 that can compare with the Rik Collection wallet in leather quality or craftsmanship. The wallet is not flashy - it is very simple and functional. All of the slots are properly sized to accept IDs and cards:not too tight as to be cumbersome and not to loose to fear loss.At least one reviewer said the smell put them off. I have carried the wallet for several days. When I put it up to my nose, I smell horse saddles lined up on the racks of the equestrian store. Seriously, this wallet smells like great quality leather. It smelled a little bit when I initially took it out of the box, but I only detected an odor of the tanning process; I did not smell anything I have not smelled in the past on quality leather goods.The stitching is flawless; this is a critique, not a casual observation. It is uniform in tightness and margins on both sides of the stitching. The leather dye is uniform and solid. With 7 cards and ten bills in it, it is no more than 3/4" thick. The only unknown is how the leather will age. But based on the feel and surface appearance, I am confident it will age well.Another good quality wallet I recently tried showed surface wrinkles on the outside of the fold after less than a week of use. After more than a week, the leather on this wallet is pristine. I am not a tanner, but I can recognize good quality leather and a quality product. This fits the bill, so to speak. I am doing what I always do when I find a product of exceptional quality and suitability - I am buying spares.

Ok, I rarely write negative reviews, and I have to start out by saying this wallet seems to be quite well made and it lives up to most of its hype...with the small exception of the word "SLIM." Sure, it is fairly slim out of the box (very nice box, too), but once you place 6 or 7 cards inside along with some cash (which it does hold quite easily), it became more bulky than my previous 'non-slim' wallet. I think if the card slots had been aligned differently, it might not be so bulky. I am on my butt 8-10 hours a day plus driving, and a bulky wallet is just not acceptable for me. I would have just returned the wallet, however I seemed to have lost the nice box it came in and I don't think they take it back without it. Again, I am NOT saying this is a bad wallet, it is actually very nice looking and a very good buy. But, if you are truly looking for a 'SLIM' wallet, this one might not be for you.UPDATE: I initially gave this wallet 2 stars...which actually wasn't fair. The wallet itself, as I said in my first post, was very well made and a great value. It just wasn't as slim as I would have liked it to be. Well, RIK obviously saw my post and sent me a full refund on the wallet. I don't know about you, but that is a reason to do business with someone...great customer service. I don't need another wallet now, however I will go through the RIK Collection this morning and find something to buy. I also changed my rating to 5 stars. It was only a $20 dollar item, and I wasn't that concerned with trying to return it...but RIK now has a customer for life.

what a wallet,,quality ,top quality,leather and construction,perfect,i didnt think it was going to be this great of a wallet since it really is not a very high priced wallet,,everything about this is top quality,wait till you see how well its wrapped,cloth bagged, and packaged,and boxed,superior product,i just returned a 60.00 fossil wallet that fell apart in 3 weeks,and i thought that was a nice wallet,until it fell apart ,but it didnt even compare,in quality or construction to this RIK collection wallet,im glad i came across this here on amazon.

Unfortunately, bae didn't like the overall design of the product (he said it wasn't a "Slim Fit" and due to the design, was a bit too bulky in the middle and didn't close evenly around the edges). HOWEVER -- the product itself was beautiful; great craftsmanship; quality leather; good packaging; felt great in the hands and had that nice leather smell. Additionally, the company itself is wonderful to work with. They will see to any issue that you might have and they stand behind their products 100%. We are currently looking at some different designs from the same company to see if we can find a better fit. Thank you, Rik!

This is a great wallet. The leather appears to be top quality and the stitching is evening spaced with 10 stitches per inch. There are four pockets on the right side and three on the left, plenty for most people, and two compartments for currency.I only have one issue. There is a compartment behind the pockets on both sides, which is common on most wallets. However, I put business cards in the left compartment and they come out stained. I think there may be some residual oil left from the leather processing. I have had to use a separate plastic card holder to carry my business cards, which kind of defeats the purpose of this slim design.Would I buy this again? Yes. I just wish I didn't have to separate my business cards.

My previous wallet was a trifold and was bulky. My main goal in getting a new wallet was a slimmer fit in my back pocket. This wallet met that goal. It is nice looking, comfortable and holds almost as much as my previous wallet. That just means I had to clear out a very few items I didn't need in there. I don't understand why the price of one or two of the colors is always more than the other - and why it keeps changing. But I would be happy with any of the colors and either of the prices is good for the quality received.
