String Swing Clip-On Guitar Hanger for Amps Round Handle

This hanger is really great and suits my needs perfectly. Hangs on the handle of my rack case for my bass amp and holds my instrument perfectly and securely. Plus it fits in my bass case. It’s nice to no longer have to bring a guitar stand to gigs. One less thing to load up and carry into the venue is a big plus. Excellent build quality and built to last a lifetime.

It’s nice to have a uke/guitar holder you can move around. This one is currently on an IKEA shelf unit glass door, but has worked on the closet and bathroom doors too. Handy.

This is the only item I found which can position my instrument on the back of a church pew to my satisfaction. It is compact, secure, does not damage the wood of the pew, and keeps the instrument close to the pew in front of me. I like it very much. The cradle is sized for guitar. My ukulele fit this hanger straight out of the box, but did not feel as secure as I would prefer. The manufacturer advised I could squeeze the arms together by hand. My hands are not strong enough to perform the squeeze on this very solid item. A large pliers with a towel to protect the cradle did the trick. Now I am confident to hang my ukulele. String Swing does produce various cradles, including ukulele size, which screw into the clamp. However, you would have to buy this clamp together with the guitar sized cradle, then pay for an additional ukulele cradle, which is not carried by Amazon.

It's perfect! I got two. You don't have to do anything. You just hang it wherever you want, and you are ready. I got them on my closet door, and they are very convenient. Solid structure. I would definitely recommend it.

Good product, but does not fit over a standard door, which is what I was hoping to use it for, and be able to close the door with the guitar still hanging from the clip

Pros: - fits right over horizontal cabinet handle - solid metal - inexpensive - great space saving idea Cons: - won't fit all cab handles - cab needs to be stacked or pretty high off the ground for long-necked instruments (i.e. bass guitars)

Great idea, and save drilling holes in the wall. You’ll need a picture rail, and be a little careful taking down your guita in case you knock the hook off as you take it down. As long as you’re a little gentle these work really well, and hold your pride and joy securely and safely.

Probably works fine for hanging guitars on a slatted wall, but I was looking for a hanger for a picture rail. I ended up gluing a plastic block to the back of the hanger - not ideal, but it works. I usually use Fretfunk hangers, but they are currently unavailable. The pictures and description are confusing. So, unless you have a slatted guitar wall, are prepared to drill and screw a support for the hangar or have a few spare cabinet blocks and some decent glue, I wouldn’t bother - there are cheaper and better wall mounted options. What happened to Fretfunk hangers?
