How use the waterfall

The smoke comes out of dragons nose creating a lovely aroma

They use cones that you buy from amazon light the point and then it slowly burns creating smoke and lovely fragrance

Is this battery or plug in

Neither. You use backflow incense cones. These cones are hollow and once lit smoke travels down through the cone and through the holes in the ceramic ornament to form a pool of smoke in recepticle at bottom of dish.

Why is there red stuff coming off after use?

I think you are referring to the residue from the cones, leaving a sticky layer in the bowl easy to clean but don't let it build up too much
