can i use on starter locs

you don't actually need gels to start locs. maybe you want a gel to help, depending on your hair type. ...i have mature locs. this gel doesn't hold my hair at all. it just makes it slippery and more difficult to perform maintenance.

it's not advertised as a product that causes hair growth. it's simply a hair gel that the company has opted to target to people with locs. i imagine it can be used on ANY hair. (locs are just hair.)
