These plates are great! Handles heavy food well and doesn’t immediately fall apart from wetter food. We buy these every year for our Holliday get togethers and they have never let us down.

I got a ton of compliments on these plates, which caught me off guard because I thought they were a good idea but I assumed people would be weirded out.They held a lot of weight from a thanksgiving dinner buffet. Only one out of twenty people had their plate slightly break. They’re definitely better at holding weight than cheap paper plates, but not as good at holding *really* wet options. (Like soup wet, and it help up to corn casserole from a slow cooker)They smelled a little strange out of the bag, and definitely weren’t as clean looking as in the pictures, but they still looked really nice on the table, almost like perminent plateware.

These plates are awesome!! Each one is a little bit different and they're very sturdy. We received lots of comments and compliments that they were good-looking, functional and we were good stewards of the earth as they are compostabIe as well as biodegradable. I highly recommend them!!

I purchased these plates a year ago for a wedding reception and have been using up the leftovers until now. I just ran out at Thanksgiving. They are a sturdy, pretty plate that holds up well to even a heavy meal. That said, I'm giving fewer stars because someone figured out that they can charge more-much more-for their product. I purchased them in July 2017 as a 5-pack of 25 plates (125 plates) for $19.99. I came today to purchase more because I really do like them, but they are 25 plates for $19.99. I think I will have to go back to my plastic plates

These are very cool, I re-use them multiple times and they look so much better than tacky paper plates!!I will re-order (eventually.) They are just too useful and unique!

If you read anything and have any awareness that the world, plastics do not to grade and they are slowly accumulating.Dead sea mammals are found with plastic straws and plastic ring can holders. And, all those plastic plates and plastic cups in plastic straws and plastic bags and plastic utensils, they're taking for every grade and are representing a huge pollution concern.I did some research and found out that the material used in these plates is not harvested but is actually palm leaves that are taken after they fallen. There is a huge industry of recycling these palm leaves.Their sturdy, the size is big enough for a meal. And they last without any trouble. The price is right and you're helping the planet.I can't solve the world's problems, but at least I can help a little bit

Just got my order of these palm plates and I am completely satisfied with my order. I have been searching for a high quality, environmentally friendly, and disposable plate for dinner parties. These plates came very nicely packaged and arrived within the stated time frame. The plates are thick enough to be able to hold even the heaviest of veggie burger or a nice splatter of vegan chili. I definitely recommend these plates if you care about Mother Earth, or just want something a little fancier than plain white paper plates.

25 plates came in packaging for 50. OK, only ordered 25. At least 10 have corners damaged beyond use. Needed to use others for event.
