The best thing about this bulb is that when you power it on the bulb default to bright white. The battery in the remote may be bad because it does only work one or two button pushes before you have to get up and go towards the lamp in order for the remote to work.

Item worked exactly as described. Would be nice if it showed light out of the bottom instead of being gray plastic but from what I can see, they're all designed like this.

The bulb was a hit with the kids. With some persistence you can figure out the operation from what's on the box and the remote. It did arrive well packed and quickly. The timer operation for on/off is set in number of hours from "now" but you can't set the current time and if the power goes out it all reset. White is excellent intensity the colors are about 1/3 to 1/2 of that. Various flashing speeds and ramp for colors for party/displays/drama. Appears well constructed and CE listed.

This product works well. Am using it in my son's room, he loves switching between the colors The light is bright enough and each color has 3 levels of brightness control. I wish the on button was shaped differently, as it's difficult to know which is the on button in the dark. Also the white light is too cool for my liking, and find the yellow/orange lights to dark for every day use...because this I find it more useful as a toy than an actual light for a room (unless you always want some color). There has been a couple times where it seems to freeze on the white light, and I have to manually turn the lamp off to reset it.

So far so good. the bulb arrived on time and I have installed it on my ceiling fixture in my balcony. I've been leaving it ON in the color alternating mode All night for the last 4 days or so and it's illumination is pretty good. considering the dropping temperatures in Canada over the next 1 month or so, I'll let this pass the test of durability to withstand sub zero temp values.

Got one for myself for future entertaint setup. But for now, it's in a high up lamp in my room. It's great not having to walk over to the cord to flip the switch. Now I can turn the light on and off via remote beside me. Not only that but flip through different colours and adjust brightness and dimmer. What more do you need from a light source? It's perfect!Brother in law was so impressed I bought another for him on his bday. He's loving it too I'm told.
