I had an old netgear router and modem I got from my brother before this. Our blue ray player that has Netflix and other apps in our bedroom would stop working and would buffer for long periods of time. So did a roku in another room. They are both connected wirelessly. We have performance internet from xfinity so I knew it had to be the router. I bought this router and modem to solve my streaming issues, and it works great! Netflix and HBO apps take only a half second to load and they're opened. I have a wired connection to my TV in my living room from the router, then everything else is through Wi-Fi. The 5 gHz connection is what really helps. I play games online occasionally too and have had no buffering issues, and internet is as fast as possible.

The dual "ac" band is awesome for wireless! Went from a struggling 30-40 MB to a solid 70 MB! Recommend!

Used these to upgrade a friend's wireless internet service. Both units connected and worked immediately. Dual band router means we have faster wireless connection on Apple devices and my new Dell laptop. Faster speeds from cable internet supplier are great. Altogether an awesome package. The printer is connected to the USB port on the router. I downloaded the printer controller app from TP-Link and could immediately print from my PC wirelessly. Sadly the app for Mac did not work -it downloaded bit would not unzip so couldn't be installed. Tech support promised to investigate and E-mail me but so far no response -will follow up in a few days. Highly recommended.

The cable modem is fast and reliable. The router has good range and is much faster than the router supplied by Comcast. I would recommend both of these items.

This High Speed Cable system is working great. Good by cable TV. The wifi is really fast. I get my TV with a digital antenna and the picture is better than the cable.

FANTASTIC .....WORKS SO GOOD FOR OUR NEW BROADCAST STUDIO ....STRONG SIGNAL NO INTERFERENCE FROM ANY OF OUR EQUIPMENT ......AND THE SIGNAL ACTUALLY GOES BEYOND THE STUDIO ....INTO STAFFING PARKING LOT.....WELL WORTH THE PRICE AS A PAIR .....HIGHLY RECOMMEND !!

Works great. Easy to install. No issues. Phone connects when I pull up to the house. I am not a huge tech person to know if it is working faster but does seem to have a bigger range than the Comcast modem/router.

Very happy with this combo. Works better than cable companies crappy units. No longer need a WiFi extender. Runs all our devices smoothly.
