So much better than I expected
It was cheap. It's kinda thin and light. I really worried that it would be a waste of money. Folks, it's perfect. I *love* that it's light weight. I used to use a larger, very sturdy (and somewhat heavy) steamer, and I wanted something smaller and a little easier to toss around. This thing isn't remotely as sturdy, and it doesn't have that neato layered copper metal bottom that's supposed to be so amazing at distributing heat. It's not fancy at all. And I love it. It's so light I can grab it and toss it around like it's nothing. And it heats FAST! Instead of heating up all that heavy, fancy metal, it just boils the water. Fast. MUCH faster than my heavy, fancy one. In a matter of about 5 minutes I can go from taking the thing out of the cupboard to having freshly steamed frozen hamburger bun. Pro user tip: I bought a 9" trivet to keep inside all the time. This lifts my paper-towel-wrapped frozen hamburger bun up off the steamer basket, where water accumulates. This wouldn't matter if you're steaming veggies, but something like a bun wants to stay out of the water. (The water re-hydrates the frozen bun. I partially defrost in the microwave, then finish the deal with one minute fifteen seconds of steaming. The paper towel, which I wrap them in before freezing, absorbs excess water--both while in the freezer as well as while steaming. Comes out perfect!)

Steamer
This is a nice steamer for the price I paid for it but please do not use it to cook anything that require oil because it's rather thin at the bottom. If you using water to cook your vegetables then that's great but do not saute any vegetables because as I stated before it's very thin at the bottom of the pan

Satisfied
I finally can cook the crabs! But the stainless steel are thin, it oxidizes with heat very easily, but I brought it for use not for decoration, so it works well, and I got for what I paid.

Terrible Quality, Fake Stainless Steel and not no-stick
Based on the photos and reviews of this steamer listing. I bought it in Feb. 2025. However, as soon as I got it, more and more disappoints come. 1)It is very thin and light-weighted compares with other Stainless Steel cookers; 2) it got more and more steel-stains after being used for about 1 week (The material is Fake Stainless Steel and not no-stick at all); 3) now just 3 months later of normal use, it started to leak. (There are two small holes at the bottom! So terrible!) will ask Amazon to help to resolve the issues and keep updating this review.

Small but does the job!
I have to admit that when I got the package and opened it I was skeptical and thought it was way too small to be a useable steamer. I was incorrect. It is very lightweight, small, but does the job well. It doesn't come with a small bowl that's shown in the picture, but I have a small bowl that I used to see if I could make steamed rice with this steamer. Perfect!!! I make my own dog food and have used electric steamers, but they always fail after a year. So I went back to the old-fashioned way: use the stove. Makes excellent steamed dog food. Worth the cheap price!!!

Unexpectedly light and thin!
Wasn't expecting a top quality pot for what I have paid for but I was surprised how thin and light it is. We are using it and so far it does what it had promised and my wife is happy with it.
