These magnets are stronger than expected. I wanted to stabilize a sink drainer because it wobbled, slid, or fell over when jostled. Erg!!! I got these Neodymium N52 super-strong magnets with a countersink hole from Amazon. The sink I was attaching to is stainless steel (magnets just say, meh!). But magic happens when you place a corresponding magnet on the back side of the sink wall (mating magnet doesn't need to have a countersink). Whack! These magnets become alien life forms and snap into place with a vengeance. Awesome! With two of these anchor sets mounted, this drainer thingy doesn't budge. Physics rocks! First of all, these are not toys for kids!! Also they are too strong to use as fridge magnets. I got these for myself and a friend to mount on the end of a wood hiking staff for hunting meteorites. (which we haven't done yet) They were easy to mount on the staff using a #10 brass wood screw. Here is a little hint: don't order brass wood screws on-line because they are VERY expensive. I saw them priced at nearly $5 each. Instead, go to your hardware store where you can get them for around 50 cents each.

Much better than other magnets I bought. Not quite as strong as I would like, but better than any others I found on amazon so far.

Junk. Don't bother trying to use. Too fragile. Coating not strong enough. Twoof them came together as I was separating them from the spacers. They fractured into small pieces, causing the entire package to drop to the floor fracturing all four. It ended up being one big clump of broken magnets. The coating could be stronger. Find another magnet. Don't bother wasting your money

Theses are strong , , be careful, I separated one from the other 3 but not far away enough as it flew back to the stack and shattered , oh well , now I know, great magnets

Very strong magnet (positive) but break easily, especially when two get stuck together and trying to pry them apart.

These are some seriously strong little magnets, worked perfectly for my project.
