They're a nice novelty item. Not what I expected. I bought a set of resin -styled knitting needles several years ago from Joann Fabrics and I loved them. Many of the needles I no longer have because I either lost them or loaned them. Anyway, when I saw these needles, I was excited because they were a close resemblance to my previous needles. When I received these needles, I was somewhat disappointed. The needles were made with a type of inexpensive plastic (in my opinion ) and the seams were so jagged that my work would snag on the sides of the needles.The case was very nice.I like the colors and multiple accessories. If you're looking for a novelty set, this set perhaps is for you. I on the other hand have several sets that I use when I teach knitting. When I teach, I allow my students to try a range of materials. I also loan or give my personal needles to my students because I want them to enjoy the craft. I believe that if they have something special, they'll keep knitting. Maybe one of my students will find pleasure in working with these needles.

These needles are amazing... Love working with beautiful colors. Needles are warm, smooth and quiet in my hands. I wish they were availble in every size imaginable. The pretty cloth case is perfect for keeping the needles and other essentials compact and organized. Really pleased with this purchase.

Nice concept; however, the tips have rough edges and catch yarn.
