Go Photo! An Activity Book for Kids

The perfect beginner photography book!
I have a minor in photography, and wanted to teach my kids what I know. But my college level books were too hard for them. This book is perfect (I’ve tried a few different books, and most of them were tons of details, not much fun). My kids (6 and 9 years old) ask for “more photography classes”.It has fun and technique mixed with science and silliness. Which is perfect for a kid learning something so technical.

So much fun.
This book has been an incredible companion to my 7 year old daughter while she learns the basics of photographing with a DLSR. We have a blast working side by side photographing together and creating the crafts. This has helped her with learning angles, distance, creativity, patience, and light. We love the scavenger hunt the most. She always impresses me on how she interprets each subject.

Perfect for Quarantine
I was planning to use this next year with our homeschool curriculum as an elective. I decided to break this out since we are currently "quarantined". This is giving us something to do and have some fun. Love the different activities that are given in this book.

Good projects
I got this for my 10 year old grandson who is taking an interest in photography. Some really fun projects in it that we did together

More crafty than photo tips
This book was more of a craft type of book than actual photo tips. Also a lot of activities required a printer. Just not what I was looking for

Highly recommended for parents AND educators
This book is absolutely awesome. I bought it as a fun little supplement to teaching my Intro to Photo class, and it has lots of really great projects for kids without getting too bogged down in the technicalities of photography. Definitely recommend this for anyone looking for cool projects to do with their kids or a way to reenergize art curriculum.

This activity book is very kid friendly
We gave my 9 year old granddaughter a camera for Christmas. This book gave kid friendly ideas for photo projects/shoots that helps them learn how to use their camera.

Things to make rather than things to photograph
Ok, but it's more of an ideas book for things to make, rather than things to photograph. For fun and simple ideas for things to photograph, go for The Camera Book by John Davis.
