How to Cut Children's Hair

Gave me the confidence to cut my grandsons hair who won't go to the salon.

This book I got for daughter who want to cut her son hair. It is very easy to follow on how to do the job for a simple cut.

I complimented a friend of mine on how nice and neat her four children's hair always looked and wanted to know if her hairdreser was very expensive. When she told me that she cut her kids hair I didn't believe her.she loaned me her copy of How to Cut Childrens Hair to try out and I was able to to cut my son and daughters myself. I'm usually not very good at following directions, but the pictures made it very easy to follow. I even cut my husbands hair now. I just bought my own copy to use. This book s excelent. The only drawback is that now my brother and sister want me to cut their kids hair too. Also, this is the funniest how to book I've ever read.

How to Cut Children's Hair is a really good book. Beautiful drawings help so much! Instructions were clear. Gave my young grandson a haircut and it looks good. I tried cutting my husband's hair following Larry Dunlap's instructions and that turned out okay too. Like the good humor and the clever tips on how to keep kids still and safety tips too. learning how to hold the scissors from the drawings made a huge differnce (I tried to cut his hair before and it was terible - this time it was pretty darn good and I think I will get better using this book) Seeing all the styles shown was nice too and also tips on buying scisors etc. I would giv e this a 10 star rating!

This book has a lot of cute haircut ideas for kids and easy to follow directions. The writing style was funny and it was a super quick read that I now use for reference. My kids' haircuts look A LOT better now!!

Seems easy to follow. Has nice illustrations and step by step instructions.

It's a pretty good book. I haven't used it yet, but it had really good foundation education on hair cutting.

Easy to understand and illustrations are very clear. I wish there were color pictures also.

I'm into dressmaking so am confident with a pair of scissors, so I decided to give this a go. I have cut a fringe for my daughter and trimmed her hair, boy's hair is more complicated so gearing up for that. Anyway, everyone's commented on how nice my daughter's hair is not told a soul it was me : )

Written in "American" but the basic principles are sound and managed to give our youngest a trim yesterday and for a first attempt looks pretty good. Easy to follow too. Going to try son number 1 today! Sorry hairdresser's but we are now saving money!

Gave me the confidence to cut my toddler son's hair. And the end result wasn't too bad. HAs a useful like to online videos too.
