I STRONGLY recommend NOT using the incandescent bulbs that come with it ...
Seems to work well for directional lighting. You need to allow for at least 1.5" inside the wall/ceiling or wherever you mount the light. I STRONGLY recommend NOT using the incandescent bulbs that come with it as they and the fixture get VERY hot. Instead, this bulb works well: Green LongLife 1010504 LED Replacement Light Bulb 1139/1156 base 95 Lumens 12v or 24v Natural White

Good solution!
Love being able to use directional lighting in our camper. I do wish they were led....but I love the fact they are blinding.

Worked as advertised.
This light fixture replace the original reading light in our RV which was both bulbs on or off with no directional adjustment. This fixture was a great improvement allowing individual light control.

It looks pretty good installed (why 2 stars)
As an assembly, it does not work as sold. It looks pretty good installed (why 2 stars), but the bulbs in this fixture gets blister-hot after a short period of time literally leaving a burn blister. The surrounding wood in the RV was very hot too. I can't imagine what would have happened if left on for hours. Ok, I had to cut my existing hole in my RV slide to accommodate the fixture so it was pretty much there to stay. I fixed the situation by replacing bulbs with LED lights.

GREAT PRODUCT!!! Measure the depth you will need first and be sure to buy short LED bulbs for it so it doesn't heat up too hot.
