If your looking to replace your Modem or Satellite TV cable this is a great way to go!!! ^_^
I was so impressed with the last cable I bought I decided to do some research on quad shield cables. After looking at the applications for 50 Ohm and 75 Ohm cables, I decided to replace our other cables as well.I got this cable to replace our old Single Shield 50 Ohm and it made a huge difference!!! There was a 1db increase in cable resistance, but the signal was strong and 100% solid. I used a tube of "Skywalker Stuf" dielectric grease on each end and the cable attenuation has been great for weeks!!!If your looking to replace your Modem or Satellite TV cable this is a great way to go!!! ^_^

Quality cables provided by a great comapny
I received my order yesterday and am very impressed both with how quickly this item was delivered (two days) but also the quality of the cable. I purchased three different sizes. I replaced the cable my provider used from my internet to my modem (I suspect it was r59 cable) and the cable for my two Mohu Leaf antennas. The difference in the clarity of my television picture has improved dramatically and due to the quad shield on these cables I am no longer experiencing annoying interference on my television channels.I highly recommend these cables and this company.

Great cable
This is a very nice cable. It definitely helped my problem, but didn't clear it up. Still a really good cable.

A Great Upgrade from Cablevision's indoor Cables...
I bought these because of them being Quad Shielded, I have cablevision as my internet provider and when you go to their website they claim to use Quad Shielded Cables, which they do but only for outside use and not indoor use. Their indoor cables are only dual Shielded... I live less than a block from the train station and each and every single time the train passed major interference, the internet speed would drop and the TV channel would black out as if looking for a signal, even worse during rush hour when the trains use more power. So after doing much research and looking at these I decided to give them a chance, Now I didn't receive faster speeds like others claim, I guess if you're upgrading from non shielded cables then maybe, but I didn't. What I did get was a more stable signal which was more important to me, so since installing these cables I have had no drops and my internet speed has been steady with no drops even during rush hour and this was after a week of testing Mondays and Fridays being the days that the MTA uses more power. So I highly recommend these cables to you if you live in the city as I do or if you're upgrading from cables that have little to no shielding, as mentioned my interference came from the train station less than a block away but interference also came from taxi cabs and also from antenna's on the roof of the building and I also found out that a Dish Antenna causes a lot of interference also and those things can hurt the speed of your internet if your cables are not shielded well enough. If you live in the city I also recommend changing the cable that goes from the modem to the router to a cat 7 as that is a very strong shielded cable compared to Cat 6.Again, you may not notice a speed difference but you will notice a more steady stronger signal.

Before You Buy
There was a time when I could say that I live in a heavy EMI (Electromagnetic Interference) area and this was unique due to the place I live. The statement is still a true fact due to where I live but it is no longer as unique as it was ten years ago.(I live in a place where electromagnetic research and development is conducted DAILY)Today Our EMI environment has become heavy most everywhere due to so many new devices that utilize wireless technology.Bottom line...I have used industry standard RG-59 cabling for over decade.I am a professional in the field of electromagnetic radiation and transfer, I do NOT share opinions as so many do.The quad shielding used in this cabling (and any other) has improved my signal quality substantially enough to warrant the cost. You should not expect any improvements in most CATV connections that use an HDMI output. You CAN expect an improvement in all other Analog processes unless you don't already have an EMI noise problem.RF TV, and Cable Modem connections that HAVE an existing EMI noise problem can (under those conditions) experience an improvement with any quality shielded cable.Otherwise.... the expense may not be technically justified.(properly shielded cables do NOT improve signals unless an EMI problem exists)In my case....I had an existing EMI noise problem and these cables solved (actually only reduced) the problem.PSBefore you buy....If you have multiple cable connections in your home and have noise problems you should consider the following.... IN THIS ORDER.1. Terminate all open unused connections in every room. (75 Ohm)2. Make certain your cabling is a short as possible and do not place them near power supplies, wall warts, transformers, and WiFi base stations except as required.3. Investigate the specifications of your RF Splitter and replace with high quality version if required. (typically located in your attic)4. Use quality shielded cables. (you should NOW use quality shielded cables regardless due to Cellphones, WiFi and Bluetooth)
