Custom Leather Padded Dog Collar, Hand Tooled, Medium Brown

I have had this collar for over two years. It is on a very active labradoodle and has seen its share of outside time. (actually got lost and spent some time outside in the winter). A part of the collar peeled away and I was rather sad to think of having to replace the collar. I checked about rebuying and realized they have a lifetime warranty. Sent a message and was happily surprised at how wonderful customer service was. I now have a new collar and am very pleased. Gets my vote

Looked a long time for the real sturdy leather deal. here in the U.S. extremely difficult to find because American companies are addicted with greediness for Chinese products and profits. Resulting in a huge selection of unnatural plastic and artificial materials, unpractical self winding flex leashes and nylon crap where one looks. This product is the ultimate collar for a loved dog. Super sturdy, extremely beautiful and real old style craftsmanship. You will not need another collar again. The best I have seen for at least 30 years. I will buy for all the other dogs we have. We are so happy that we found it and it is not made in China, where such products have never been a tradition since thousands of years. And I think such products do not have to be reinvented over and over again. SUPER SUPER, RECOMMEND HIGHLY AND SUPPORTING OUR OWN CULTURE.

I purchased matching collars for my boxers, they constantly rough play, often tugging on eachother’s collar. 3 months after purchase, they show VERY LITTLE wear. I am buying a 3rd collar after an early morning skunk incident.Pros:- well worth the money.- quality materials- good design- will make other bitches jealousCons:Does not repel skunks.Update: 2 years, and another skunk later, I don’t recall leaving a review, but here’s some new pics to show how durable these collars are. I recently started rubbing mink oil on them about once a month (before/after pic) They’re still in phenomenal shape!

Wasn’t sure which size to get, since my Doberman is very sleek and streamline. He’s about 85 lbs full grown 5 yrs old. His neck measured between 17.5 18 inches and I ordered a medium after seeing another post with a Doberman also same neck size. It was a touch too small. I Returned it quickly free and easy at UPS store, and got a large in the mail within a week. He’s somewhere between the shortest hole and the next hole in the collar. And the large is much wider looking as well. At a glance I thought it would look too feminine for him, but it doesn’t. But I’m a woman so maybe it does and I don’t notice it? Lol. The craftsmanship looks beautifully done. I Can’t attest to yet to the durability, as he hasn’t been out in the rain with it on, or for a walk. But pulling it seems strong. I do like the tag loop being separate as well. All in all gorgeous collar. If it doesn’t hold I up will change my review accordingly.Update…..several months later…..it has proved durable thru rain, the creek, the lake, 100’s of walks and it looks even better now slightly aged. Love it. Buy it….you won’t regret it. For the price, hands down the best looking and nicest collar I’ve ever purchased.

My doberman is sensitive to metal rubbing on his skin. It took me long enough to figure out, but metal bowls and metal parts on his collar were causing skin irritation and bumps. I needed a collar that didn't have metal touching his skin and that was padded for extra comfort. This on fits the bill. It is beautiful, padded, and doesn't irritate his skin. I do take it off for bedtime and most times when we are at home just in case, but that has allowed him to heal.I have not (and probably will not) put this collar through wet conditions like going to the beach or in the rain; he has a padded fabric collar for that. This is his fancy pants collar and he loves it!

I love this collar! I have a 90 pd boxer pit mix and he looks fantastic in this collar. Because of his strength, having the highly secured l leash loop on top of the collar is brilliant! The collar is well balanced because the leash loop always stays on top. And I love having the little loop to put his tag on so it always lays flat against him. Very nice leather stitching too. Great value and most importantly, comfortable for him.

This is one of the best leather collars I have ever purchased. It is well made and the Brass parts are just great. My hound absolutely adored this collar and is very proud of it. I also purchased the 6 foot leash made by the same people and it is a perfect match. The collar is double layered with the soft leather on the inside and seems to very comfortable for my hound, when he gets to pull some and he takes me for a walk, he feels no discomfort. I highly recommend this collar for bigger doggies.

I got this and love everything about it: the price, the colors, the hand tooled design in the leather, the padding on the side that goes against the neck. My dog is very happy with it. He will dive into it or he actually picks it up and puts it in our hands to put it on each morning. He is super proud to have it on and he looks very handsome.
