I gave it a 5 star even though it is a bit of a flimsy shelf. I think a thicker plastic would work but you have to bend it a little to get it in, so probably would not install well if it were thicker material. It fitted perfectly in my 2025 Mazda Miata as pictured. Good place to keep those sunglasses so they don't get scratched!

Fits perfectly in my 2024 Miata RF. Makes the storage area more useful. Easy to install, and it comes with a silicone “cushion “, which prevents things from sliding around.

Definitely works as advertised. i had to add small pieces of sticky felt to the tree insertion tabs due to the rattling. now its snug and quite.

The fit is pretty tight so it took a few minutes to install. On the plus side it won't be vibrating or making noises because of the tight fit. I like it so my girlfriend and keep stuff handy like a brush and phone battery on top. I can throw my stuff underneath so there's less stuff to sort through when I need something. I don't know why the cars don't come with something like this from the factory. It seems like an obvious improvement that costs practically nothing compared to the car. Given how little storage the MX-5 has, every little bit of improvement helps a lot.

This little Center Console Organizer shelf is a nice addition to my 2024 Mazda Miata’s rear glove box. It comes with a separate rubber pad with an adhesive backing that is applied to the top of the shelf. It has three little tabs that fit in three existing slots in the back of the glove compartment, and it rests on a small ledge on the front of the compartment. To install it, you carefully bend and wedge the shelf into place until you find its “home” spot. The shelf is somewhat flexible, but it definitely allows the entire glove box to be better organized. You can use it for a place to put your phone or sunglasses as an example, which leaves the lower part of the compartment for other items that will be better organized and more accessible. And it can easily be removed if so desired. I recommend this for any Miata ND owner. —JM 5/9/2024

Although it does what it's supposed to I feel it's pretty flimsy as well as not as tight as it could be in the space. If you have something on it it's going to stay put but otherwise fairly loose fit. I wish it more snapped into the space or was tighter.

The shelf is a great addition to the space giving it more useful area to put your stuff. The silicone surface pad on the shelf adds strength and an efficient non slip surface to the shelf. Installation is tight but that assures a good fit.

Fit really well. Had to bend it a little to get it lined up but after it holds anything that I’ve put in there. I use it for sunglasses & insurance with no issues at all

A little tricky to slide it in, but fits well and is secure once fitted. Does the job and allows to separate and compartmentalise the space well. The rubber surface also adds some grip.
