The Training (The Submissive Series Book 3)

commitment
I finally got to finish this book one thing that I can say is that this time around Abby had gotten out of shell on this I was worried about her in the beginning because to me it seems like that she had a problem with opening her feelings. and I am glad that Nathaniel did give Abby the journal because it seems to help open up because it seems like she had a whole lot of personal stuff going on to. And now that Felicia done moved out and married Jackson it seems that Abby was afraid that Felicia was go leave her behind but I am glad that Felicia had told Abby that they would always be close. I am also glad that Nathaniel had finally made a commitment towards Abby because it seems like he was scared to express his feelings until he talked to Jackson. And as for Nathaniel I am glad that he took Abby to the submissive meetings because outside of Felicia and Elina she needs to meet some people that is in her current lifestyle because I think that it will be easier for her to be comfortable most of all this was a good story.

Where have you been all my Erotica reading life, Tara Sue Me?!!!
With as much Erotica as I have read these past few years, I wonder why it took me this long to FINALLY get around to reading Tara Sue Me. I truly had NO IDEA what I was missing . . . Until now! Oh. My. Gawd!!! TSM is certainly up at the top as a writer in this genre. EL James and Sylvia Day have nothing over TSM!!! This series had kept me engrossed from the very first!! Every chapter and every book has been IN. CREDIBLE!!! The story of Nathaniel and Abigail - and ultimately the love story of Nathan and Abby - is superior!! Every development, twist, turn, and beautiful unfolding, has been so lovely I have not been able to put the books down. If you have enjoyed the "Fifty Shades" and "Crossfire" series, and everything in between, then PLEASE pick up TSM's "The Submissive" series. You will wonder why it took you so long!!!

A good conclusion to an interesting trilogy
A copy of this book was provided by the publisher for an honest review at SeductiveMusings.blogspot.com. I also purchased a copy for my own enjoyment. This review may contain spoilers for The Submissive and The Dominant, the first two books in the Submissive trilogy. You could read The Training as a stand-alone book, but I wouldn't recommend it.After the riveting start in The Submissive and a somewhat tepid retelling of the same story from the hero's POV in The Dominant, we now get the touching conclusion to Abby and Nathaniel's love story in The Training. Our hero and heroine have finally realized that they should give their chance at love one more try, and they both work hard to overcome their doubts about themselves and each other. During this time of reconciliation, Nathaniel and Abby learn to harmonize their need for a part-time Dominant/submissive relationship with their fragile new status as boyfriend and girlfriend, but the road to the perfect balance is not easy, and it takes some help from Nathaniel's mentor in the BDSM lifestyle to show them the way forward.Although I loved The Submissive, I found The Dominant somewhat less enjoyable since it was basically the same story, although I did appreciate being able to understand what had gone before from Nathaniel's point of view. What helped make The Training a success for me was having both Abby's and Nathaniel's POV available, each moving the story forward rather than simply recapping what had already been described from the other's perspective. I got a much better handle on their individual concerns and motivations, and was relieved that the author was able to avoid the spectre of "head-hopping" which derails so many books with multiple first person narratives. Best of all, the ups and downs that occur between Nathaniel and Abby throughout The Training only help to make their Happy Ever After even more enjoyable when they finally get that happy balance that they've worked so hard to achieve together. (And yes, I did cheer when I saw there was an epilogue. I love epilogues and this one was sweet.)The Training is a satisfying conclusion to the Submissive trilogy and I recommend it to readers who love a tender romance along with their kinky sexy-time reads.Ratings:Overall: 4Sensuality level: 4 (heavy BDSM including anal sex and caning)

A GREAT BOOK FOR THE LAST OF THE SERIES
I really enjoyed this series, even though it had too much of the sex for my particular taste. I must explain that the scenes were never boring, applied to each outside occurrence of their life, and in most cases, they were tender.I loved the characters. The Hero and Heroine were absolutely GREAT!! I would have liked if the Author could have had the family playing more of a part in the series and also the characters of the LIFESTYLE being more a part of the H/H life.I really appreciated the Author explaining the events and what was occurring when a scene was written. Also when it came about in their daily lives. It was very well written for the someone that had little knowledge of this, like me. I did NOT feel that this book (series) was 'trashy' and it also didn't make me feel like it was 'bad'. I enjoyed learning about this LIFESTYLE. The love and tenderness the characters felt and also displayed to each other made this book extraordinary and romantic. This book has been hard to review as I don't do spoilers so I'm having a difficult time explaining how much I enjoyed the book and what I liked about it. There is only one part I felt lacking and that was the Epilogue. I was so disappointed that it didn't include the other characters life at that time. I just wanted a better ending. One that explained more. After what I have written about this series/books it should be apparent that I Recommend it. I read all three books, in there order, and encourage you to do the same. The books are equal in ratings and enjoyment. But to know the characters, all three books need to be read, in order written...The Trilogy will be in my 're-read' series category, also in my top twenty list of series that I have enjoyed. (I have read more than 400 books in the past few years, so that should show you how much I recommend the series.).Editing was extremely good. The cover matched the first book. The others, not so much. There would have been no further investigation on those books if I had not read the first book. I am so glad I read the first book as it enticed me to read the other books.Thank you MS TARA SUE ME for an outstanding Trilogy.HAPPY READING MY BOOK FRIENDS....

So So
This is an interesting book if your wish to know anything about the dominant/submissive lifestyle but I was left slightly underwelmed. Some of the writing left me thinking "what" for example Abby said she did not have the same connection with Nathaniel as her best friend. I had to stop to think what this connection was until I remembered that her friend was married to his cousin, how could that connection be anything to worry about if she was his submissive. I just did not understand. I prefer books that have some sort of story and would recommend the book of Cherise Sinclair which are much better.

Not bad.......
I read the whole of this Trilogy & enjoyed the first book but by the second book, I started to lose interest. Although I was keen to learn Nathaniel's point of view, some bits more than others. I got to the point where I wanted to start book 3' it was good & I needed to know how it ended but I had also lost the will. I don't think it was as good as FSOG. Normally when I read I can't put the book down & go back to it when ever I get a few spare minutes but with this Trilogy I felt I could wait. Shame.

saucy, steamy, HOT HOT HOT
a real "mummy porn" book. It is hot, it is sexy, it is simply a book for any woman to enjoy! This isn't just a book about sex, it is about learning boundries, experiencing new things, and about true love. If you enjoy E L James and Silvia Day, then Tara Sue Me is a must read! The first two books are the same plot, but written from different viewpoints, yet the author manages to make it seem like a whole new story. You wont put this down until it is finished!
