Pour Over Coffee Dripper | Single Cup Ceramic Pour Over Coffee Maker

I am an experienced cone user and have been brewing pour over coffee for 40 years. This cone is well made with a wide flat rim that fits over even my largest Starbucks mugs.I use unbleached brown paper filters ( that I moisten with water from the kettle) or a gold mesh reusable filter. Both work well. I bought 2 to add the house so when my family and friends are visiting there is no waiting for the first morning cup. I never use a coffee maker because the flavor in inferior, they require cleanup, and they need to be stored after. This cone can also be use to make a pot of coffee. Just heat a ceramic teapot with boiling water a bit and pour it out. Then set up the filter and coffee but increase the amount of grounds to match the size of teapot. Pour hot water over grounds without overflowing cone and you will have a smooth pot of fresh coffee.

I have been using the Bean Envy pour over glass container with the metal filter with the paper filters. First, I tried without the paper but was too hard to clean, so used the paper with the metal filter and it was as SLLLLLOOOOOOWWWWWW process. No matter how well I cleaned the metal filter, it would take forever for water to go through. I also felt the coffee had a bitter strange taste. Well, got this ceramic pour over yesterday and I can not believe what a difference it makes. My temperature has stayed the same, I wet the grounds first, so my method hasn't changed, nor the coffee, but the taste is cleaner. It's a little top heavy to use with the glass carafe, so I actually used a ceramic tea pot which worked perfectly. I made about 20 ounces and this worked very well, and quickly. This would be a perfect solution for those who only want one cup, to put right over the cup as well. Looks great too.

I have several brands of pour overs. I ordered 3 of these because the others I have cracked & chipped. The first thing that got my attention about these is that they are thicker & sturdier. The second feature is the wider base. My other pour overs only fit over normal-sized mugs. I found some wider coffee mugs on sale & purchased several of them, but found that they couldn't be used with my pour overs. These fit easily & they are the same price as the fragile ones I have.

I love that it looks lile a coffee cup, with the handle, which also makes it easier to remove and clean. It has a small groove underneath which allows it to rest securely on the mug to be filled. It accommodates cone shape or regular filters.

Found this ceramic to work better than the stainless steel one I bought earlier. Wanted to get away from using plastic ones and tried the stainless steel one which started to clog up and could not clear it up. This ceramic one is made very well and holding up and not clogging. Sometimes it was leaking out the sides of the coffee mug due to it not sitting on the mug straight or the mug lip was too small. I try to use a wider mouth mug most of the time.

Happy to get rid of our plastic coffee pourover and start using this ceramic one. This ceramic one has three holes, the old plastic one had four holes. So the water/coffee doesn't go through as quickly -- which is good for flavor. But when I use a too-fine grind of coffee, the dripping slows down to a trickle or stops, and I had to gently stir the mixture to keep it dripping through. Now I grind more coarsely, stir gently, and the coffee drips through fairly steadily. The flavor with the slower dripping is good -- just mind the grind. Good product!

Love that the base is wide enough to fit over a large (16 oz) coffee mug.I’ve had smaller filter devices that sank into the mug or got stuck. Who needs that in the morning?!Great design for this product!

Also, why have a big coffee maker on counter when I am the only coffee drinker out of five adults in family. Works great for me and I take it with me when I travel.
