A lean g915 clone at a fraction of the cost
Software engineer, go through kbs frequently enough, found this while looking for cheaper alternatives to my favorite kbs, one being Logitech's g915, a $170 kb in 2024. Sought qualities of g915: - volume scroller and media buttons at the top right of the kb - low profile low noise keys - corded - full std layout (not tkl) - backlit keys So this redragon Horus kb delivers and really I had always found myself wishing that Logitech would make a g915 variant without the G keys. This Horus kb *is* that variant; lucky I found it and I won't be going back to the g915. I read about key over-sensitivity issues people have had; that hasn't been an issue for me. One thing I really appreciated was that I didn't need any software download to customize the backlighting effects. I wanted just plain white backlighting and the manual properly described how to use the Fn button with key combinations to achieve the various effects available. In summary I hope redragon keeps supporting the spirit of what they've done with this keyboard moving forward- it is a winning design and you can tell their team put a lot of thought and love into the product. Recommended. Update: 1 year later and it's held up fairly well to daily use/abuse. The left CTRL button went a little insensitive on me - I have to engage it slightly harder to have it register my presses. But, that happens with almost every kb I've ever used so... guess I use that left CTRL a lot. Considering that this is the *only* issue after a full year of all-day-every-day use/abuse, I'd say it is holding up better than most kbs. It's definitely worth its price point - no question there. If I was forced to be critical (this is a non-issue for me) I'd only say it's missing some of the high-end tactile feel of the g915.

Awesome product.
It's amazing, as described, the lights are brights and it has several patterns. Love the wheel for volume control and it's beautiful. At the price, with the RGB, mechanical and the volume wheel it's a great product. I use it with a mac and almost everything works as expected. I can get all the light patterns, the function keys, and the wheel for volume control.

very close to perfect at a great price
Someone gave me the wireless version for Christmas and we sent it back because I couldn't get it to connect on my Linux computer. But I wanted to give it a try still so I ordered the wired version and that is what I'm reviewing. It looks great. It types great. It sounds kinda OK. Quieter than most, which I appreciate. The space bar doesn't sound like a half broken version of all the other keys like a lot of keyboards do. The lighting is great. The "signature" feature of Redragon keyboards to me is that you can program it without software so that is super great. I love the roller for volume instead of buttons or a dial. I love that the G keys are ergonomically different from all the other keys - so you don't ever press them on accident. Which brings me to the one negative which to me takes away a full star from the review. The G keys are laggy. There is maybe about a second or so between when you press one and when it types out what you told it to type out. Just slow enough to make you wonder if it worked so you press it again, and you get double the output. Other than that I highly recommend this to anyone.

redragon is really good.
this keyboard feels great to type on and is very quiet. it has replaceable switches and the rgb is clean. the logo has a separate rgb cycle to the rest of the keyboard i think that is a nice touch. it has a metal chassis and the top buttons are on the fly macros. on the right is for selecting macro sets and recording. and on the left is for the macros for each set. the scroll wheel also feels really good. ive been using redragon mice for a while and this is the one company that ive seen in the past 5 years that has improved in build quality and maintained the same low prices. i will continue to buy redragon.

Nice keyboard for the price.
Well lit with lots of setting. Keys feel nice and I love the low profile! The color profiles are fun and the color options are great! I use this for my studio but it would work well for gaming too. Very happy with my purchase so far.

I LOVE THIS KEYBOARD.
I have VERY tiny hands. This was the only low profile mechanical keyboard I could find. I literally have severe wrist pains because of my old keyboard. I have been amazed at my hands not being in excruciating pain. I would give this more stars if I could. If you have small hands and are a gamer, THIS is your keyboard. I love it so much. Do note, normal size wrist rests will not work for it as it is low profile. I like Logitecks low profile attached to Grifiti's low profile.

Scroll wheel broke after 2 years
Overall it has been working great for just over two years now, including keys and rgb backlight (I chose the rainbow setting). So much better than my previous membrane keyboards. Sadly, the scroll wheel broke off on one side. The past few months it had actually been randomly activating on it's own, sometimes increasing, sometimes decreasing, the volume. Pretty rare when it happened, but still annoying when it did. A little disappointing, because the wheel was one of the reasons I selected this keyboard

Beautiful, lot of features, exactly what I was looking for.
This keyboard has many pros and a few cons. Let's start with the latter. The Enter key, instead of being the classic L-shaped key—large and easy to click—is split into two. The Enter key is similar in size to the Shift key, and just above it, there's a key that should give the backslash, but it actually results in the hashtag. This is another issue with this keyboard because some symbols are incorrect. The 2 key, when pressed with Shift, should result in @, but instead, it gives ", or the 3 key gives £ instead of #. Luckily, muscle memory now prevents me from making any mistakes while typing, but this is something to consider when purchasing, especially if you're used to keyboards with a UK layout. The pros, however, are numerous and very welcome. The volume wheel is incredibly convenient; I can't do without it. The customizable macro keys are excellent, allowing me to create highly personalized key combinations, which is a delight for someone who works with many different software programs. It's very convenient. The software that manages the RGB lighting is also excellent. Finally, a keyboard in this price range that allows you to manage colors. Typing is very pleasant and not too noisy. I like the reduced key travel, but that's a matter of personal preference. The weight is excellent. I'm quite satisfied. Great value for the price.

İlk mekanik klavyem
Ben low profil klavye seven biriyim.

Best Keyboard
Incredible keyboard, plug and play and super easy to use the macros. Lighting is great with many different modes, which you can customise in the software. Best part is it still functions perfectly without the software, which solely serves to allow you to customise the software rather than bloating with a bunch of trash like Razer and even Steelseries to an extent does.
