THIS PICTURE SHOWS 4 MILLS TO SHOW THE 2 TYPES OF LEATHER, AND THE 4 TYPES OF WOOD INSERTS. PRICE IS FOR ONE MILL. This is the Ranch Mill, a design I came up with for the Calgary Stampede show. The leather is either Brown, or Tan. The wood inserts are either Maple, Walnut, Purpleheart, or Padauk. Starting with hard maple precision turned on a lathe, the mills are then dado cut, wrapped with treated Tan or Brown deerskin leather using "leather glue on steroids", plugged with a hardwood accent (Maple, Walnut, Purpleheart, or Padauk), and trimmed. Most buy a Brown for pepper, and a Tan for rock salt. The mechanism installed is the best and most high tech mechanism available. CrushGrind mechanisms from Denmark are made with ceramic grinding parts, polycarbonate housing, and an annodized aluminium shaft. The mill stands 224mm (8.8") tall and has a 63mm (2.5") diameter.
