this fits perfectly on and is made for sig p229 .357 sig/.40 s&w with accessory rail and legacy slide (half serrations on the rear of the slide, short extractor). this specific model will not fit the newer p229 with full serrations and long extractor. construction is sturdy and fits like a glove. cant is adjustable without having to take off the holster. if you have a sig, the sigtac holsters are awesome.

As a life long Sig Sauer fan, I use, whenever possible, all things Sig Sauer. I use the holster for the Sig P229 40S&W. While I've yet to use my holster, on examination it is everything I want in a holster. The gun retention system is excellent as is the overall quality of the holster.
