This slicer is not fragile at all. It easily sliced through a box of mushrooms.

Seems sturdy enough. Easy enough to clean. The one I bought at the local big box store broke in one use so this one seems much more reliable.

I’ve only used it once but it impressed family who were in the kitchen at the same time. It is well made and seems as though it will be durable and very useful! I sliced eggs beautifully for a chef salad. Bon appetit.
