10" Rust-Oleum Brands 989721 Varathane Oil-Based Floor Applicator Pad

I had never applied polyurethane with an applicator before, only with a brush. I was concerned with getting a smooth finish. For my first attempt it worked very well. The polyurethane does dry fast so you can't be slow and brush over one area too long. Long smooth strokes are necessary. Even though I did have some areas that skidded a little, I am very satisfied with this applicator.

I used this for floor was, it worked great. It was a latex product so cleaning was easy, and I can use again

Worked great for staining my deck. Did not fall apart and lasted through entire process. We'll buy again.

This applicator fit a standard broom pole great. The quality was what I needed. Recommended.

First off this is two pieces of wood and two screws. It is extremely cheap and very overpriced at $15. The wood is drilled where you screw in your pole instead of having a metal mating piece (again manufactured in the cheapest way possible). This is very important because by the time I did 4 rooms of stain twice the pole was falling out constantly. This makes the stain uneven and was significantly more work than it should be. In summary this is cheaply made and will fail early making the job much harder than it should be.

The threaded hole was messed up and wouldn't stay on any of the 5 different poles that I tried. The threads had not been drilled well from the start. I ended up having to push this on my hands and knees which was really NOT a fun job. Check your threads before starting. Very frustrating.

Just received my order today. Cannot get a handle to attach, the thread is damaged so I cannot get a broom handle to screw in . It seems that j have received a damaged product. Cannot rate the product as I cannot use it .

Not as good of quality as I hoped. Did the job but didn’t get between the panels at all as it doesn’t absorb much stain.
