Voltask Cordless Snow Shovel, Effortlessly Clear Snow with Ease (20V Battery not Included)

I bought this to work our lake property for our future retirement. I have not used it there yet, how ever we just did some yard landscaping and I used this to cut down a 12 foot tree and had no issues, I did charge the batteries when I first got the saw but not any other time except just before we used it this first week of June 2024. Sharp blades took quick work of the pomegranate tree and branches! Quiet, no gas or oil mixture although there was some bar oil that leaked out while it was in storage for almost a year, but all my chain saws leak bar oil. Nice saw not to heavy even the wife used it with no issues! also we have a harbor freight solar set up so charging it is free!

Around our yard, I only need to use a chainsaw infrequently. As I was getting on in years, struggling to start my gas chainsaw was using more of my energy than the job it was needed for. So, I decided "the heck with it", and gave it away to a neighbor. I made the switch to the Voltask cordless 40v 14-inch, and what a pleasure it is to use! Easy to assemble, great safety features. I only needed it for one job (so far) this season--removing dead portions of an old apricot tree. The Voltask performed flawlessly, cutting through limbs of 4 to 12 inches like the proverbial "hot knife through butter". The saw never slowed down during the 40 or so cuts needed to complete the job. I highly recommend the Voltask for anyone needing a reliable, easy to use saw for those somewhat simple jobs around the yard.

I purchased this chainsaw in hopes to pruning my trees. I charged the batteries and the started to make the cuts. After making about 10 small cuts the saw stopped. I removed the batteries and reinserted them and did not fix problem. I placed the batteries in the charger and the charger indicated that one of the batteries was bad. I charged the batteries and was able to make another 4 cuts and that was the end of use of this saw. Even after placing the batteries in the charger the saw no longer functions. So all in all the saw was nice and cut well but the battery problem makes it not worth the purchase. UPDATED: So I was contacted by the vendor of the saw, and they indicated that they did not have that modal of saw in stock and was unable to replace it, but they did refund me the full price of the saw without contest. I want to thank the vendor for their proactive support of their product. I would like to see more of this from all vendors.

VERY convenient and comfortable to use, good battery life. It is a bit slower cutting on the larger (6-8 in) than my old gas model. And much cleaner. Update! This company has discontinued this saw and even worse, it has discontinued the batteries and has no interest in helping customers with replacement batteries. Don't take a chance on this company!! Oh, by the way I still like the saw, just no way to use it with just one good battery.

Purchased this chainsaw for duty around the house like cleaning up downed branches and tree limbs after windstorms. Great for small jobs and can even chew through some larger 6”+ diameter branches. You need to keep in mind it is battery powered, so it doesn’t have the same cutting power as a gas unit, but the batteries last longer than I was expecting. The light indicators on the charger are very intuitive and charging time is extremely fast. For the price, I am quite pleased with my purchase.

I bought this chainsaw for my husband to do minor trimming mostly small dead branches in June 2022. He brought it out again this summer to do minor tree trimming . It started fine for a couple of uses but now has suddenly quit. Thought it was batteries but they are completely charged . There is no indication power is being supplied to the saw. Nothing happens when start button is engaged on fully charged batteries. Loved how it worked when it worked but it's now useless. So disappointed on the longevity of this chainsaw. I wouldn't have purchased it had I know it was a one season item. Don't waste your money

Being a 76 year old female, I can't use a gas chain saw due to how heavy they are. So a battery operated was my choice. This saw is light weight, easy to assemble, easy to use and will cut down any branch or tree that a gas saw of the same size can. Best of all is the great customer service. Highly recommend
