Candy Retailer Wrapped Assorted Cut Rock Candy 1 Lb

UPDATE ON AUG 19, 2015: Amazon (finally) posted my review one month ago. Since then, the photo has been changed to reflect what I received; the larger, individually wrapped version rather than the smaller, loose one. I'm happy to see that correction was made. What I am not so happy about is that these have much less flavor than the smaller ones. To the point of being almost impossible to distinguish what the flavor even is! Even though the description says that this is made by Primrose Candy, the title now suggests that that they are actually from Sweet Gourmet. Maybe this is the reason they are lacking those distinct flavors?The photo shows one thing, what I received is another. Both are made by Primrose Candy. You can see for yourself what I got and decide if that is what you want, or if you should look elsewhere for your fix. It is awful being addicted to this candy. What's even worse is spending an hour and a half writing reviews and having them rejected over and over again. Nope, I am not kidding. This is my sixth and final (for now anyway) attempt to share my experience so that others can know what might be in store for them. I haven't used any disparaging comments, foul language, or broken any of the stated rules regarding spam, outside links (or internal ones for that matter), content that would identify me or anyone else, or any reference to price. I removed even a veiled reference to the seller despite feeling that would be valuable information for other buyers since there are multiple sellers of this item, and still my review "could not be posted".

My son loves the old fashioned filled hard Xmas candy. I purchased this rock candy which looked close to the old kind for one of his Xmas presents. This candy was close but not quite like the old kind of candy. Wish you would stock the old candy so there would not be a hassle of ordering from another company. I've been looking for the candy for 2 years with no luck so I settled for this.

It was fun to introduce my boys to a favorite memory from the old 'hard candy' Christmas treats my grandmother used to share with us. Just sad it took me so long to find them as the boys are 18, 17 and 17! Good flavors and fun to watch as they discovered how to tell which flavor was which like I used to do back 40+ years ago myself!

the picture of the hard candy is very colorful, the candy I received, no color at all and crushed. I expected Christmas color, but that wasn't the case, this bag to me looked just like regular hard candy, maybe somebody picked the wrong bag, oh well, I am sure it will get eaten, we like hard candy, the taste is fine.

I really like this candy, but a family member thought it dull, as there is only one flavor (?) and the beautiful colors suggests otherwise. It arrived when promised and I would recommend Primrose Store and Amazon. Thanks.

These candies look just like the ones from my childhood, but there isn't any specific taste to them. They're just sugary-sweet. The green is not spearmint nor lime; the red is not cherry nor cinnamon. i was hoping they'd be the spice flavors i used to love, so i'm disappointed.

Just what I needed for Christmas. Packing was adaquate. Some Cand was broken, but that is now any different from anything you can buy locally. I will order more in December 2013

Good candy from when I was a child. Only difference is is the candy I remember as a child had more cinnamon pieces and filled pieces. This candy does not but it's still good.
