Best feeder ever purchased
I am a fish enthusiast for many years. My pond has koi ranging from 6 to 24 inches with the oldest fish probably going on 20 years. I've purchased many large/professional feeders (which generally malfunction after a year), and this is the best ever.-The feeding mechanism is a simple turntable dispensing small programmable food-multiples - which makes it possible to control exactly the amount of food you want on each feeding and program as many feedings as you want at hour intervals. One shortcoming of other feeders is that the food-multiple is simply to large. The programing is simple once you understand it - but it does take 5 minutes of study to figure it out.-It operates smoothly and without irritating noises.-The product itself is aesthetically pleasing and easy to position/mount over a flat surface.-The price is much less than other products in the same category, making it a very good value.

works sometimes
It works well when it works. The problem is that my unit keeps turning off and then I have to reprogram the whole thing. What's more annoying is that it often turns off while I'm programming it, so I have to start over several times. Luckily once I got it going, it went for 2 months without a problem...until I had to add more food...as soon as I touched it, it turned off. Then it randomly turned back on, but I had to reprogram it a few times agains :(

Poor directions, if you followed them the rogramming became more confusing. Spent 2 hours trying to program it gave up and sent it back
