Sanding drums are very useful for shaping and roughing bird carvings as well as working areas prior to finishing. They are an essential accessory for your Foredom tool. These drums are made from quality materials to rigid specifications to ensure that they run smooth and true. The drums have a 1/4" shank and can be used in a drill press, hand drill or Foredom type tool. Sleeves are sold in packages of 5 and are available in Coarse (50x-80x), Medium (80x-100x), and Fine (120x-150x).

Excellent product at a great price
I was very pleasantly surprised to receive this great little drum sander way before I expected it, and I am very impressed by it. There is no "run out" whatever and the sleeves hold firmly without slipping. This small diameter drum sander was perfect for dressing up some small holes that I had drilled deeply into a piece of thick wood, and is an excellent addition to my workshop.

Article is fine - it's the ad I don't like
The picture shown is very misleading in that it shows several articles that are NOT included ie sanding sleeves. I thought I was buying everything pictured.

The drum is good quality at a great price. This is just the drum as the picture is a little misleading. Make sure you order the sand paper sleeves if you need them.
