Bite Shield insect traps use a combination of proven attractants, including UV light, CO2, and heat, to lure flying insects over a wide area. Octenol is a proven mosquito attractant that further increases their effectiveness. Octenol consists of 1-Octen-3-ol (alcohol based fragrance) combined with a wax blend to hold its consistency. The naturally-derived fragrance mimics human breath and has been described as a mild mushroom or Camembert cheese scent. Each Octenol lure lasts 30-60 days, depending on environmental conditions, so this 2-pack of replacement lures is an economical way to boost the effectiveness of your trap for up to 4 months. Review: Very pleased 👍 - It really works, and desertcart went out of there way to get it to me Review: Works great and have been doing for 3 yrs - The typical bug zappers dont attract mosquitoes with light. Painted bulb 'red,' zip-tied product to bulb, and clean out tray under of dead mosquitoes every morning. Works great and have been doing for 3 yrs!

Mosquito magnet
I have a covered deck near a large field and have a bug zapper with a timer to operate nights. I noticed other insects had been zapped but few mosquitos. After attaching the refill I found the zapper full of dead mosquitos plus others dead on the floor. Definitely a good product.
