Nice flat wafer maker
Excellent for making flat wafer type biscuits which you can roll (ice cream cones) or mold into fortune cookies. I love the subtle, ornate designs on the griddle part.

Loved it
Gift for my sister. Easy to use once you get going. Cleaned up well. Something we will use again and again.

Came out a little thicker but everything else was great
I'm not sure if it was my recipe or the iron... I need to try one more time with a slightly thinner batter. but this didn't come out any thicker than when I made an accidentally thick batter and used my stove top version... So I'm going to try again, but so far I'm pretty pleased. I have an flat top stove so didn't want to use my stove top version on the flat surface (wasn't sure how well it would work), and this is a great substitute. I've only used it once so can't speak to longevity.

Very happy
I have always used my grandmother's iron on a gas stove. Was a little unsure if I would like it and I'm happy to say this works great.

Poor results
My Electric Krumkake Baker arrived today. I was so anxious to get this as an addition to my Chefs Choice Krumcake Express 839. The product and box were intact, & in good condition. The waffle cookies, or krumcakes, turned out doughy, not crispy, very very pale, and under cooked despite being on high temperature and for increasing lengths of time. And frankly, the appliance as a whole looks cheaply made. I'd be surprised if it held up for a year. So it wasn't the cooking time, or the temperature setting, it's the appliance itself. I usually don't get too worked up about stuff like this, but I gotta tell you, I'm VERY disappointed. Also, there's absolutely no comparison in quality compared to the Chefs Choice Krumcake Express 839 machine. I'm 100% Belgian, :), it's a tradition in our family to make Lukken (crispy waffle cookes) using a cast iron cookie press that goes over gas heat (which I don't have in Virginia), and you make them one at a time. The end result is worth the time. And the (electric) Chef's Choice Krumcake Express 839 came thru In flying colors. But this sad excuse of a krumcake maker is going back today! Total disappointment on all counts.

Worked like a charm
Nice nonstick surface. Even heat. I made dozens for Christmas. It earned a permanent place on my pantry shelf.

Easy to use, easy to clean
It took a couple of tries before the stull came out perfect. But once we had the amount and time down the krumkake was super. I would recommend this product!

Good, not great
We have used this a lot this winter. Pros: easy to use, easy to clean. Cons: the griddle doesn't tell you when it's done, so you have to set a timer each time ( thank goodness for my Echo Dot), it also can cook a little uneven.
