Pine Top 511-0010 2-Light LED Solar-Powered Plastic Fence-Post Cap, Copper

Sent this back as the title sounds like there are two in the box, if you read it closely it means there are two bulbs in a single light. Although the light works well, I have two I bought from another source and one went out, this price was just too expensive for one light.

The lights arrived quickly and they didn't include the post cap size I needed. I wrote an email requesting the 6X6 caps, they arrived the next day. We put the lights on and one didn't work, I wrote another email and they shipped a new light, no questions or requests for a return of the broken one right away. The company was great to work with!The lights look really nice and were easy to install. They don't really throw off enough light for the purposes that we hoped, but they provide some nice ambient lighting.

The title says 2 LED, the bullets below say 4 LED. Not sure how they were so confused by this. But the unit actually has 2 LEDs with a yellowish plastic mirror at the bottom to reflect the lights, so perhaps the reflection is what they meant by 4? I bought two of these and was not impressed at all. They were unbelievably dim even after full day charge. One of the two units the LED were blinking slightly well after dark so was concerned about that too. I even tried replacing the green generic factory rechargeable batteries with rechargeable batteries that have a much higher mAh rating but that didn't help at all. The problem is the LEDs are simply too dim. Anyhow for the price I didn't want these 'lights' that are hardly brighter than a couple fireflies so I am going to return them to Amazon.Installation was very simple but I doubt any of the reviews here speak about removing these units. They are incredibly difficult to remove. I had two big problems trying to remove them from my posts.(1st Removal Problem) I had used the 3.5" x 3.5" adapter for the lights on my posts when I installed them and they fit very snug. They are held to the post with 2 screws which were easy enough to remove, however the wood which had gotten wet from rain had swelled so much that the fit to the adapter was even tighter to the point that I could not remove them without destroying the unit. I waited two days with dry sunny weather for the wood to shrink enough to remove them.(2nd Removal Problem) The light comes with two adapters to fit different size posts. The post adapter has 2 holes with which you can use a tiny screw driver to push in the plastic tabs to allow the adapter to be separated from the light. The major problem here is that there are 4 tabs (one on each side) but only 2 holes on opposing sides) ! I had to use a curved blade of a paint scraper to be able to get a grip under the adapter to remove it from the light. If I wasn't returning these unites I would have just used a saber saw and cut them off because they were so difficult to remove.So in Summary: The installation and look of the lights at daytime is very nice, but as a light to provide some sort of ambiance they fail miserably. And removal of these units was clearly not thought of at all in the design of them. I included a picture to show the brightness of the unit sitting on my deck railing. I took the photo late at night and my camera automatically did a very long exposure so the amount of light output in this picture actually looks better than it does in reality. But, you get the idea. the light reaches no more than about 6-8 inches away from the unit. From about 10 feet away you would probably think it was an LED firefly.

If you just want an accent light for the top of a post, then this is for you. Has hard plastic lenses. I installed better quality batteries so that they will stay lit longer---very easy to install them. Not a bright light, but it does show up nicely at night on top of your post. Really nice copper tone finish---you can'tell it's not copper unless you look real close or handle it.

Met my needs. Would have liked them to put out a little more light. They operate more like an accent light, but other than that they're fine for what I needed

To start with, I found very few choices in post top solar lights. This one fits 3 sizes of posts. It was DOA with the no-name batteries shipped with it. After replacing them with charged Eneloop  Sanyo NEW 1500 eneloop 8 Pack AA Ni-MH Pre-Charged Rechargeable Batteries  batteries it worked. It is on my mailbox post and gets full sun all day. This unit has VERY dim LEDs in it. Compared to my neighbors Walmart light it has only a fraction of the light output. It's solar panel is small and typically the light will last about six hours, while the one next door goes all night. I am going to keep it and when the ground thaws, I'll bury a low voltage cable and replace it.Update: By the second summer the "copper" color was starting to come off.

Great product.. I put it on my mailbox post out by my street cause i live in the middle of nowhere and it is pitch black .For an led product it produces alot of light. and i thought it was metal until i looked at it closely. very good quality

The light is advertised as having 4 led lights. I received the product with only 2 led lights. I called customer service and explained the situation and was promptly issued a return label. I asked to have the product checked to make sure it had 4 led's as advertised and if so, to reorder it. I received the second light in just a couple days, but it was the same product that came originally, with only 2 led lights. It's a nice looking light, but only having 2 lights was not adequate for my need. Product description must be changed to reflect product accurately.
