The Continuous Rotation Servo is a high-performance digital metal gear servo designed for applications requiring precise control and high torque. With a rotation capability of 360° in both directions, it operates efficiently at 11 kg/cm torque at 6V and boasts a rapid response time of just .19 seconds per 60°. Ideal for robotics and automation, this servo is built for durability and ease of use.

Strong! 3mm thread.
The adjustment screw is very important! Not all continuous rotation servos have them accessible outside the case-- or at all! Beside the metal gears, which is important and worth the few extra bucks, the spline has a 3mm thread, which is just outstanding for robotics. Bought my first the other day, bought two more today, and am probably going to buy many, many more-- because of its strength and that superbly convenient 3mm thread!

Works very well with RKnob on Dx9
Great for RC Warbirds to make rotating gun turrets! Used on B24 for top turret operating from the RKnob on my DX9. Also used to raise and lower sails on RC Sailboat

Raccoon tested, hobbyist approved!
I bought one of these for an automatic cat feeder project. I use this to drive an augur to push the food out of a hopper. Did you ever leave a bowl of food outside? You get raccoons. Four raccoons to be more specific. Amazingly I'm on the 4th rebuilding of the cat feeder. Because of the raccoons.I based my augur and feed tubes on a thingiverse design with a 45° angle on the output end. First version dumped food into a bowl. Raccoons ripped the feeder apart on the first night and ate 18 pounds of cat food. On the second night, I built a platform for the feeder and hopper. This one lasted for 3 days. The raccoons reached up inside the 45° and broke off the augur and broke the servo wires. Cat food would pour out if you gave the platform a little shake. I had set up a RPI camera and saw a raccoon sit under the platform and shake/kick/bump it for 4 hours. That night they got 17 pounds of cat food. Third revision, I changed to 45° angle to a 90° angle with 12" of PVC on the end that stopped about 5" above the tray where the food lands. You just try and reach up there you trash panda scum! I also changed the servo with a plastic gear continuous rotation servo I had in the parts box. I printed a new, heavier augur. This design worked ok but the food kept jamming in the augur. This gives the cats short food and I have to go feed the cats by hand. If I wasn't lazy, I wouldn't have started this project in the first place! So for the fourth version I repaired the raccoon-damaged wires on this servo and I replaced the plastic servo with this one. Now the food feeds awesomely through the delivery tube. Where the plastic servo bound up on the chunks of cat food caught in the augur, this servo spits out two halves of a chunk. It's loud, yes but it's in my yard and I don't have to add a dinner bell for the cats. The one I received has a "lope" where it sounds like something is binding or out of round. Still works very well though. I'd buy more.

Great servo
Seems and feels like a great quality servo. Came with many screws and attachments:-2 way-4 way-6 way-circular

1/3 had no teeth on spline shaft, the other two are nice
nice little servos, I bought 3 one of them had no teeth on the spline / drive shaft, useless. :(other two work nice, with Arduino they run from 1-180, 1 is Max speed CW, 180 is Max speed CCW, 89 is stop. closer to 89 is slow, closer to 1 or 180 is faster.

exactly what I needed
Don't really know what I'm doing, but I managed to get it working. Didn't work directly on the arduino 5/3.3 V power supply board - worked on a separate 5V power supply that I bought. Had to make sure that the grounds for both power supplies were wired together. The website on the product page has programs to both program and calibrate the servo.

Terrible
Very noisy. Plastic body. Rough motion.Ordered 4... 1 works, 2 seem to not move at all, and 1 is just on all the time and doesn't care what commands it is sent.I have ordered a servo tester now... $15 hadn't thought I'd need. If the motors test good, then I'll update this post.

Good deal
This purchase worked exactly as expected. It arrived on time and was a good deal.
