Poorly made, overpriced and no switch
I love the Philips Hue Ecosystem and have many Hue devices. For starters Amazon in their wisdom chose to fulfil this from UK and so it did not come with an AU plug. I was able to try it out using adapter from another Hue product. It did not appear nearly as well made as other Hue products. It was no-where near as bright (could barely use it as a reading lamp). The globe and cable are both to the rear (it is meant to reflect off a wall for light) which seriously impacted the light intensity from the unit and it does not appear to come with a light switch. It has a small touch panel that 'clicked' when you touched it but it appears this is a manufacturing error / not screwed together properly and not a switch (according to customer service anyway). Of all the Hue products made - you would think putting a switch or touch-plate on a bedside lamp would be handy. How could they have missed this???

Sehr schöne ambiente Beleuchtung
Ich habe die Leuchte als ambiente Beleuchtung für meinen Schreibtisch gekauft. Die Steuerung läuft komplett über den Hue Hub und die entsprechende App für Android/iOS. Die Lampe ist optisch sehr schlicht gehalten, weiß (es gibt auch noch ein schwarzes Modell und eins mit einer Holz-Base) und für mein Empfinden sehr schön gestaltet. Entsprechend größere Stehlampen gibts auch im gleichen Design. Die Lampe integriert sich nahtlos in bestehende Szenarien, auch mit anderen nicht-Hue Leuchten, die sich per Zigbee auch über die Hue Bridge steuern lassen. Es lassen sich stufenlos Weisstöne von kalt bis warm konfigurieren, ebenso einzelne RGB-Farben und Farbverläufe (siehe Bild). Durch die Integration in die bestehende Hue-Landschaft habe jetzt jederzeit das richtige Licht für Videokonferenzen, zum Arbeiten und für alle anderen Aktivitäten an meinem Schreibtisch Wohlverdiente 5 Sterne und eine uneingeschränkte Kaufempfehlung!
